I feel for the guy in a way. This child, a kid, stood no chance in life.

Imagine as a child being groomed to hate your own people and those around you being powerless to stop it. When your old man passes away and your generals, your own people, hopeful youll be different. Based on what little I have learned of DPRK I would definitely not expect any change to the positive. I think if anything it will confirm how little the actual leader is in charge.

When I was there half a decade ago Jong-Un had big plans of gradually opening up. They invited guest lecturers to teach VC and entrepreneurship, and built new hotels and expo centres in the capital. In the end all that amounted in nothing, little by little all that got clipped.
