Taylor and her staff/crew/handlers don't seem like the folks I'd be looking to pick a fight with. To be clear: I think she is awful...even more awful than her music, but she is very cold and very calculating.

She lost respect in the community either way. Besides, Kim claims Taylor knew she was being recorded. There is a reason why Taylor hasn't outright sued him yet
 
Removing the goal posts of "we don't hear him call her a bitch", her being okay with saying he might have sex with her is still against everything shes ever stood for and talked about and honestly worst than him call her a bitch, and this video is showing her perfectly okay with that. Everything following is her PR just trying to deflect.

exactly. She is giving Kayne the approval on a song that doesn't put her in a good spotlight because she knows what it will cause..Taylor isn't dumb. She lives for this shit

That reason is the Streisand Effect. She sues, the whole recording and conversation would get placed in to evidence, with a transcript of it probably becoming public record. Kim (and Kanye) called Taylor's bluff, and it's going to work.

The West's will forever be liars until they can prove she heard the bitch line. That's what all his hangs on. Dozens of pages and not a single soul has managed to provide a convincing argument of how she's a liar. IT shouldn't be this hard. Probably why the narrative (away from this microcommunity) is so in favour of Swift and so disdainful of the West's.

The phrase taking the L is the lamest colloquialism, it's cringe-worthy. I just spent 4 weeks in the U.S and didn't hear it once. Is it geek culture or something? Teach me.

Not a fan of any of the Kardashians but I have to hand it to them, they know how to put the boot in, and its about time someone gave her a taste of her own medicine.

This is incorrect, I believe.

According to the Guardian, California law requires consent to record a call, which is different from knowledge that more than one party is listening to it. Being on speaker phone is not the same as having your call recorded. This is why the Guardian article references the need some people feel to safeguard themselves by actively announcing that they will be recording conference calls, for example.
