Kingdom Come Deliverance director roasting Veilguard Steam concurrent user count

He realized back then with the first game, you gain nothing from bending the knee to these loons. You only lose your self respect and the respect of a sizeable portion of potential customers.

You should read up how film directors in the 60s and 70s would talk about Godard and his movies. More ruthless back then but I'd say today film directors are still far more willing to talk shit about other peoples movies they don't like. That tweet is tame

checking - despite never launching the game, I have it on steam and psn. Yeah that check out.
It looks like such a good fucking game. It's just also the backlog kinda game for me :P

People who have interacted with me know I'm anti-woke as fuck.

That said, I do not like this take.

All developers, ALL developers, should not be antagonizing any fanbase. They should stick to talking about their game, not bring politics into the convo and not try to be condescending towards other groups of gamers.

We all know why Veilguard flopped. We all know it sucks dick. Pointing that out is OUR job. Not the KCD dev's.

People at the Veilguard subreddit are getting pissed, and rightfully so. Antagonizing potential customers is a no-no and he shouldn't be getting a pass because he's 'one of the good ones'.

Hahaha!

I love when video game people rag on other studios, or game sites or gamers on social media. They love creating drama.

But hey, that's video game employees for ya. lol

It's a weird dunk to me when numbers are fairly close for similar time frames. Are games supposed to be inferior for releasing 7 years ago? I just don't understand it. *shrug*

Laughing at idiots is fair game. It's one of life's great pleasures x

Steam is more than twice biger than it was in 2018 (39m vs 18m peak users), KDC would have a much greater launch numbers it if was released head to head with Veilguard.

Wait to see KCD2 absolutely crush Veilguard in this regard.

They arent similar time frames.

KCD came out 7 years ago and should be a dead game by now, but it's still got 10,000 CCU. It was also a new IP and not a well known DA franchise. Veilguard is only one month old and should be kicking ass with gamers at launch. But it's not and steam gamers dropping fast.

KCD also has a higher daily Steam low of about 5,000-6,000 (weekdays), which is already higher than Veilguard which drops to 4,500. It hit a low of about 4,300 earlier this week.

My future husband, if I go gay or trans. Well if I am trans I could still like women and be a lesbian, or maybe be a girl/guy combo of some kind. I'll sit and think about it while I dream of such men still existing in this world.

What? How is it a similar timeframe then one is month and the second is 7 years old?

I remember this man from when he refused to put dark skinned people in a game set in Medieval Europe

Props to him for sticking to his guns, selling millions of copies, and being on the verge of releasing a hotly anticipated sequel

Kingdom Come 2 will probaly reach more than twice of amount as their first game due to Steam's growth. Dragon Age did poorly.
