Unless they change the combat system, I dont think the sequel will hit this number.
Yep, they worked on it for KCD2....as it was one of the biggest complaints the game had. I never had problems with the combat. In the beginning its just hit and block and once you learned the master parry...the combat was basically a joke. What absolutely didnt worked for me...were those "combos". I couldnt pull them off at all with keyboard/mouse. Luckily it was never necessary to even use them.

Played this game even twice. Once on release, once last year with all DLC's. Its just awesome!

Can someone tell me why these problematic developers are able to sell so many copies of their games?!?
I know this is a joke, but this game is regularly on sale for 75% - 80% off. Steam sale notifications works really well, and will do wonders for them with KCD2.

There's also not really anything like it at that scale, so they found a niche and did a really good job nailing it.

Got it on Steam to task My gaming laptop...the game was fine until I reached the lookpicking stuff....Even on the easier option Iam struggling on easy coffins...Harder ones Will be a Nightmare

But it's a fun Game and it seems the history stuff is real, that is good..

Good Game.

Love the attention to detail.
But the combat was amateurish and couldnt stand it. I expect the a game to at least attack when i press the correct button, not be delayed or not even work consistently

Impressive, 2 more million sold since KCD2 was released. I look forward to comparing KCD2 steam numbers with Veilguard ones, should be amusing given that Veilguard did not even match KCD1.

Lockpicking gets easier as you level up the skill. But it is also inherently easier with mouse than gamepad, so try that. Also, in the menu is option for simplified lockpicking to make it easier.

Finished this game two times (started a third).. It's a fantastic gaming experience (played it a few patches in so I escaped the quest breaking bugs).

So.. Except MSFS2024, and GTAVI, KCD 2 is my most anticipated upcoming title.

Tbf 50% of these copies must have been sold at less than $10 but still that's very impressive for a kickstarter game.

Cant wait enough for the sequel

Get a mod to bypass most of the lock pick stuff.

I thought the title was "I has sold over 8 million copies" like the based devs were referencing "I has cheeseburger" or something.

On my to play through list before the sequel. I started the game and quit when playing the DLC in which you play as Henry's girlfriend, stealthing through a mine. It was dire. I'll be skipping that DLC.
