And what a beautiful country.

This game is going to blow everything else out of the water. This is like if Red Dead 2 actually had gameplay instead of just looking pretty with great physics and half assed mechanics.

Kingdom Come’s deliverance gameplay is fucking jank. Is 2 shaping up to be that much better?

The only thing I personally found jank about the gameplay was the way sprinting worked.

But other than that the game was purposely designed to feel that way. Calling it jank makes it sound like it was unintentional, but the whole point of the game is that you're a normal person using real world armor and weapons.

I'm sure it will feel even smoother the second time around. What I'm personally referring to in terms of wishing Red Dead had this type of gameplay is more in regards of the RPG mechanics.

Tobi from Warhorse says the game runs well on his RTX 3050 and he thinks people will be pleasantly surprised by the performance, so you might be fine. 9700K might drop some frames in the city here and there though.
Great to hear, thank you!

Nah, the animations were janky. When you picked up a sword and hit someone, it didn’t even feel like you stabbed or sliced them. The entire gameplay felt janky and unpolished. I love what they did with the realism and sticking to historical accuracy, but the animations work, enemy reactivity, impact feedback, and everything else felt like it was done by a C-tier studio.
