Agreed. This will see 200k+ peak Steam players if you ask me. It's primed to be a huge hit.

Playing devil's advocate here, but after reading the whole ERA thread, outside of that easily triggered mod, it's pretty fine so far. The consensus on the game seems to be positive over there.
 
Do you need to have finished the first game to enjoy this one? I started it a couple of months ago on my ps5, but the low fps is just painful to play for me, so I didn't finish. The lockpicking angered me too, I remember.

Second has good onboarding that informs you about what is going on. You can also watch either entire cutscene movie (few hours) or shorter official recap (10 minutes) on Warhorse youtube channel. Or you can simply play the sequel and go back to the first game when you have a PC or it gets patched to 60fps (which I expect will happen now that Warhorse will have free manpower).

its just that if you want to, you can make him gay, but if you want the canon boobs, that's there too? fake drama?

Western RPGs would be dead as a genre without European devs: Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate, Kingdom Come: Deliverance are all bright lights in a dark, gloomy sky. Hopefully The Blood of Dawnwalker is the next big hit.

As usual online it's all been completely blown out of proportion. There's this one anal bleaching scene and that's it.
 
Does the main character still have that annoying hunger meter in this one where you have to eat? Im all for realism, but too much and it becomes a distraction and an annoyance

He did have a meltdown on a live stream though about people complaining about woke elements and then deleted it afterwards. You can find it pretty easily.

I'll wait for the dust to settle before I consider buying it.
