Sakurai is a genius, so not surprised the game plays awesome, but this is much more than I could have ever imagined. As a Kid Icarus Uprising and Smash Bros. fan, I'm super excited for this.
Also make sense to release it close to Mario Kart World since it have nothing to do with it, except if you are blind or didn't watched the presentation.
Sakurai choose to go for a super hardcore gameplay too, so probably the market for the game will be more limited, but I hope having Kirby as main character help it to not flop like Kid Icarus Uprising did in the past.

The fact that they called City Trial the "main course" in the Direct makes me excited, and that mode did look great.
Not sure if I can justify buying this just for that mode alone though, assuming it'll be full price. But maybe everything else will turn out great as well, I need to see a bit more I think.

It's not looking good for 2025 is it? We're probably out of time for a September release and now Nintendo has both October and November spoken for.
Maybe they see Metroid as a December title but if I was betting money I'd put it on spring 26 after today.

I'm not a Kirby fan and never played the GC original, but... this looks fun. It's more like Power Stone than Mario Kart. Could see myself getting a lot of mileage out of it.
