It's shocking to me that Sony didnt immediately sign him up for this next game almost 2 years ago when he shipped Death Stranding. This guy works so fast, he wouldve been half way through his next game by now. WTF is Sony doing?

TBH, I like new Micorsoft a lot more than I like new Sony so while I may have some reservations with how Microsoft has treated Japanese devs in the past, I think this new Microsoft might actually give him the freedom and support he needs more than what Jimbo is clearly willing to offer. 1.5 years since Death Stranding winning all those GOTYs and this man still doesnt have a job. It would be utilizing Azure, but I know Kojima was really interested in incorporating the cloud in his games going forward and that just seems like something Microsoft would help him fund — just like Google was.
