kopite7kimi - I think we won't see RTX 50 until CES

I don't think RTX 50 is real.

It'll be real in 2025.

My Stocks are ready

If you don't know where the valuation of your own stocks are coming from, you really should not be investing. Setting yourself up for disaster.

Pffttt, ~30% increase over midrange current gen?

That's a bit shit.....and not worth an upgrade in that bracket for those with 4 series cards.

That's your subjective opinion, but it's a big leap. However, there's nothing forcing you to upgrade. For those who do want the extra headroom, it's going to be very welcome.

I never understood the human psychology to shit on new, better things to justify the things they currently possess. That and the people who get upset when companies release new products in shorter upgrade cycles.

True, the game and engine scales well but I like them high frame rates. I have 4070Ti which is pretty okay but running MW3 doesn't quite cut it for me at 4K. When I was on my old 1440P monitor, I could get 220-240fps (DLSS Quality) in MP. Now I've gone and upgraded monitor; only getting 160-170fps at 4K Performance.

That and I can play games at 4K with heavy RT (plus any mods), without them shitting the bed due to the lack of VRAM.
AMD should be your card if you want max frames on COD. Is that the only game you play though?

Is 160-170fps a problem? Can you drop DLSS to balanced or lower settings? The 4070ti is a good card.

And what makes you think i do not know?
Most obviously, consumer GPUs are not what makes Nvidia thrive.

Nah not going backwards with AMD. RDNA 3 isn't worth the investment for a 4000 series owner. Worst efficiency, power spikes, upscaling, Ray tracing and other features outside gaming. RDNA 4 will be strictly midrange and will be a side grade at best for a 4070Ti, and downgrade at worst; when factoring in software and feature sets.

Looking for something with way higher/better RT capablilities for current and future games (singleplayer and multiplayer) and ever improving image quality, which Nvidia provides in spades. The extra power would be nice for CoD, CS and other competitive games too.

Not a problem, but I can definately feel the difference. I play 4K DLSS Performance - 1080P upscaled. Which is the lowest anyone should go at 4K. If you go Ultra Performance its 720P lol, which looks like ass.
