That one Joker/Red Skull comic was kind of ridiculous admittedly. But yeah, I can see Dr. Doom not bothering and definitely no Magneto, he'd be the prime example of a bad guy who'd rather team up to take down this guy.
There is no sunshine, there is no moderation. I hope we all start realizing this sooner rather than later. I understand we want to hope for the best and I do but we must also not be taken off guard. We are dealing with a man that is dangerous, stupid and most definitely a fascist.
I want to throw this in the face of everyone in the Asian community who voted against Hillary to protest affirmative action or wanted bigger tax cuts or what have you. They voted for a man whose policy will be shaped by those who want the country to return to its vastly more racist immigration and naturalization policies of old. I can't tell you how ashamed I am of their ignorance.

This is much more like Bush 2004 than Bush 2000. Everyone was well aware of how bad Bush was but they didn't like Kerry that much and thought he was assured a victory. Then he lost and they actually got angry enough to go out to the polls in 2006. The best thing democrats can do is work on actually explaining to people how their votes only matter based on redistricting.
And hammer home the message that it's important to have a politician that actually represents your views. Subtle implication about Hillary being too much of a moderate. I believe this country NEEDS Trump to do some awful shit for them to understand but hopefully it's just a couple years and then for the 2020 census, liberals can take it back.

Nah I think the best thing she should have done is just admit that she's not super confident in her chances. Talk about how the people who vote for him are either feeling economically desperate and believe he's going to reallocate money/jobs to "real Americans" or that his actual racist base is so guaranteed to vote for him because there's never been a candidate like this guy.
I admit that I didn't see this happening but it happened because liberals were certain that the country was too moderate for somebody like that. She never connected emotionally with voters which is necessary if you want to be able to talk to them like they're real people.

I agree with this but then to also highlight how the left's policies are going to improve things for working people. Problem is that the clinton moderate sect of the democratic party is far too status quo corporate to stand by any such promises.
Only Bernie would have meant it with regard to his policy directives. And he would have called Trump out for what he is: a lying sleazy opportunist billionaire shit bag.
Trump, much like the Joker, lives only to watch the world burn. Not because he even believes the dark principals driving towards that end. But because he needs to childishly enact revenge on his adversaries at the expense of everything standing in his way.
