Help me decide between these two, GAF. I'm leaning towards Choice 2.

Choice 1.

HP is HORRIBLE. This is coming from someone who owns 3 HP laptops. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HP. Horrible customer service, shitty product quality as well.

They work when they want to. If you can afford it get a Dell Studio/XPS/Vostro or Toshiba M series.

Everyone's experience is good until something bad happens to them. :D

It's best to go to forums that specialize with notebooks (like notebookreview.com forums) and see what people think.

Any reason why you're looking at those two? Price is good or what?

EDIT: Btw, I'm pretty sure the AMD 3200 is worse than the 8400...

you're lucky. If you have to pick go with the C2D machine as it will get you better battery life with its power management than the AMD machine.
