Not even with an RE4 patch coming?
I always tell people new to Xbox to go through the store sometime and add all the old OG Xbox or Xbox 360 stuff you may want. They periodically go on sale for $5 a piece. Sometimes it can take months, but nice to see the sales when they pop up since it's a big discount. Stores usually update sales on Tuesdays in North America but sometimes there's other stuff.just picked up a series x on sale with some credit that i had saved... only paid about 190 for the machine and hogwarts legacy. overall the UI is better than my ps5... but i still think the ps5 will be my main
Ideally, lots of stealth, puzzles, whip platforming elements. Good production values, good voice acting from Troy Baker. Story will probably be a bit whatever. Looks like a fun time. I'm sure there will be some cinematic spectacle moments in planes, or other vehicles. What are you expectations on Indiana Jones?
I'm sure there's lots of shooting, since it's a game and that's what you do. But I think they'll try to preserve some of the "wholesome" vibe of Indiana Jones who is also known for some non-violent approaches as well. Disguises, humor, whip, fist fights. That stuff is all harder to design than just the shooting. The shooting I'm sure will be there. Really no idea what it will ultimately look like until I play it.I hope there is a good gun blazing option also
I played it for an hour or two. Still not entirely sure if I want to buy it or not. While I appreciate the immersive atmosphere—despite my fear of deep waters—I find myself growing impatient the way certain games portray the protagonists’ emotional struggles and this game is one of them. The depiction often feels heavy-handed and contrived, rather than authentic.Xbox Series X Users Have 24 Hours to Play 3 Games for Free

Under the Waves game was free for this weekend, only today left now. I might give it a shot this afternoon.
I mean if money is not a problem, new is always good.In the mids of the PS5 Pro release. I want to upgrade my xbox series S because the 512GB of storage ain't doing it for me with all these major game installs.
I really hate to uninstall games to install another game. I want to also game comfortable, would you recommend me to get a second hand series X or go for the new 2TB series X?
You could probably save a bunch getting a used series x. This is just from my prospective but it works for me : I just got a 2tb external drive (non-ssd) and keep most of my games on there. Then just use internal drive for actual XSX games as well as games I'm currently playing. I'll just move and swap games between the internal and external as needed. A ~2tb non-ssd external is quite cheap so if you go a similar route you could save some money compared to getting the new 2tb series x.In the mids of the PS5 Pro release. This is actually not a bad idea. I think I will wait for bf and christmast deals on the white series X, because it fits my household style the best. And opt for a 2Tb non ssd external later on!You could probably save a bunch getting a used series x. Enjoy and don't forget about old games. Series x is a beast for backward compatibilityWell, boys. I am officially an Xbox owner. Today I woke up to a Walmart pricing error that had the Series X 1TB optical console at $200 off. I ordered for store pickup and just got home with the system.
I have a PS5 but some games are reported to play better on Xbox. I’ll look into it and ask for Xbox gift cards for Christmas.

Shadow Complex RemasteredEnjoy your new console.
Does anyone know if there is a game on Xbox that is nearly identical to Shadow Complex? Clearly we are not getting SC2, and I would love to play a game like it. I would prefer it to have difficulty options. Any personal experiences?
Valid option. But would love something new!Shadow Complex Remastered
First things that come to mind is maybe Guacamelee, Strider (2014), Mark of the Ninja. Not super similar and those are more melee type games. Obviously any Metroid games. I don't really know tho. Shadow Complex was pretty unique in terms of those 3d-ish rooms/setpieces.Valid option. But would love something new!
Mark of the Ninja videos look good! Downloading the Remastered version now. Thank you!First things that come to mind is maybe Guacamelee, Strider (2014), Mark of the Ninja. It is pretty awesome. I picked up Dead Space Remake, Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster, and Saints Row IV: Re-Elected for under $40 (with tax).Xbox Black Friday Sale just went live :

Kinda late, but there are similar issues in other games related to quick resume. Have you tried removing everything from quick resume? This might be a bit of a long shot since the game is so old, but I figured I’d see if anyone has experienced this before:
I’m trying to play Modern Warfare Remastered on my Series X, but the game keeps freezing about every 45 seconds or so for anywhere from 4-5 seconds at a time. The console itself isn’t freezing, as I can pull up the guide, screenshot, record, and do all the other normal things, but the game itself just freezes.
I’ve tried moving it from my external to the internal drive, which didn’t fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled from the Infinite Warfare disc, which didn’t fix it.
I’ve tried Infinite Warfare, which is also doing the same thing on both the internal drive and the external. Other Xbox games aren’t having this issue, just MW R and Infinite Warfare. I’ve tried other large, or intensive games installed on my external like Gears 4 and Shadow of War with no issues, so I don’t think it’s a hardware or external issue.
Has anyone run into this issue and been able to fix it? Or are these two particular games (MWR, IW) just bad?

Try clearing the cache, maybe some cached files for the MW games are fucking up.
