Plate-forme: PlayStation®3
GENRE: RPG
Nombre de joueur : 1
Editeur: NIS America
Développeur: Nippon Ichi Software/HItMaker

You would think these developers would look at the games coming out during certain months and push there game back or move it foward if possible. I mean March has more games coming out in it that month that I want then almost all of last years games combined. It's kind of sad. What makes it worse is from like april until september there will be like one or two games worth a damn to buy.

*edit* Saw kagari say it comes out in Feb. but still......

Didn't notice it was Kagari :lol Now that FFXIII is out, Lightning avatar is obsolete ? :p

Anyway, I also said in the OP that it was coming in February in NA.

Any other time of the year I might pick it up on pure principle but during the busiest RPG release period we've had in years this game is going to have to be good in order to warrant a purchase.

It should be. It looks like crap.

Apparently Hit Maker is in, or was in, some really bad financial state. From what I heard, the company couldn't pay its employees and they were still working on things. Maybe the plan was to be paid off the profits of the game or something, but this was happening back when A Witch's Tale was being localized.

It's like everyone has always said, PS3 is the JRPG machine of this gen.

They really push the whole talking character portraits thing in the preview trailers, and the ingame stuff isn't really awesome to look at, so I'm hoping that the game at least delivers on story and mechanics alone :/

Does anyone know if the english versions will be dual language? Don't want to pay import prices for this, but not a fan of dubs.

NISA always pushes to get both tracks on one disc. Doesn't always happen.

Fairly certain I read somewhere it would.

Another in March?
This game has an interesting art direction and promising gameplay (on paper) but the screens and videos haven't really done much for me.
Still, I'm interested in trying it out, but damn, too much stuff coming out in March.

Indeed. :lol

White Knight and Final Fantasy XIII will be day 1. I'll wait for price drops on the rest.

Oy. That's rough. Do you think the game would fare better if Hit Maker's budget was up to par?

To be honest I always skip over your posts now accidentally, there's so many Stella avatars, it's just so generic. I miss Lightning. 8(

Edit: Well, by skip I mean skim over.

Isn't that like, one of the first screenshots, released like a year ago or something? IIRC it's been improved...a little at least since then. Also it apparently has a $40 MSRP :p

Looking forward to this, but developers/companies/whoever are still clueless when it comes to spacing out their releases. They probably look at their monitors in disbelief when sales are underwhelming and try to figure out what happened. I would not not release anything remotely near FF13 for the obvious reasons. It would be like me releasing a no-name, under advertised, average looking FPS on the same day as mega-hyped COD7: MW3.

Eh 39.99, has art style I enjoy gonna have to find out what the gameplay is like.

Isn't much I want coming out in Feb but what made them think it would be a good idea to release this a month before / after FF13.

The newer shots are definitely better. It doesn't look great at all, but it's still okay.
Maybe a good rental :p

Kagari > I'll be switching to a Noctis avatar when I finish FFXIII too :D

The first quarter of 2010 is really crammed with RPG's!

I'm glad it has been announced for Europe but I'll be far too indulged in Final Fantasy XIII for this one.

Still, I will pick it up a few months later down the line me thinks.
