League of Legends Championship Series: Season 4

Ooooh if that Jax had managed to land his Stun he might've killed Lee. That assault on the turret was Ace though.

Dignitas showed a lot of weakness, but their strong laning phase may take them completely out of contention for being last place. I'd say they're a dark horse pick at best, which means that the EG vs. CoL games may be the true deciders this season. There's a lot of buzz around CoL as the newcomers, but I think it's important to remember that EG has experience losing for years, across two hemispheres and several continents. Their ability to fail to perform shouldn't be taken lightly.

TSM with the smart adaptation. WildTurtle playing kind of derpy today? Fuck 'em, he can farm by himself under turret all game, all feeding goes to Dyrus.

Hai running Ignite on TF. That's an interesting choice. I guess he still feels like he's got enough mechanical superiority compared to Shiphtur to have significant kill threat in lane, even in a potentially isolated circumstance.

Not sure if I agree with it versus a Lulu, though.

Phreak and Jatt saying Dig being the best team in NA right now? Wat. Did they not see their game earlier today?

that might've costed them the game. hai got dumpstered and left c9 with little tools to get past zyra

They have very selective memory. C9 has always performed weirdly poor against Dig, but that doesn't stop Dig from dropping games all over the place to far weaker teams.

They do look better this season, if only for the sake of no longer dropping lane phase automatically, but I actually don't think they're going to beat LMQ or TSM.

Edit: I dunno if I'd say Hai's Ignite cost them the game, though he certainly would have died in a lot fewer situations if he had Ghost instead. I'm just not sure I'm getting his logic since he even went with the sustained damage/utility TF build (Athene's -> Zhonya's) rather than the assassination build (Lichbane), so it's not like he ever even had enough burst to zero someone without Ignite.

They're 3-0. Maybe you should pay attention.

3-0 doesn't mean anything when they were struggling against EG especially when they had a substantial lead. Don't talk down to me when you're making the issue a simple math problem. It's not.

3-0 doesn't mean anything...
It means they're tied for the lead. You can say they had a hard time pulling the game out against some of the weaker teams but they also just stomped one of the strongest.

Okay. So they're not looking like the strongest team in the LCS then. Not sure why you made an idiotic post tying refute my original post then. Thanks for proving my point.

They also stomped C9 in the 1st match up of the Spring Split.

I still think Dig/Curse/LMQ will fight it out in the bloodiest battle ever for 4th.

I don't think LMQ are that good. That win vs. CLG was a freak one, honestly. they'll be fighting with Dig for 4th. Maybe 3rd. Maybe.

That Dig is the best team in the NA scene right now? Sure. Why not. I disagree, however.

statistically they're the best. casters didn't say anything incorrect at all.

Statistically they are 3-0 sure. I can attest that they are one of the top two. However, the way they played in the game earlier today, no matter how they played in the one against C9, says that they're not. We can argue semantics but that won't get us anywhere. However, regardless of how they stand in the W/L record, I wouldn't say that they are the best team. Best doesn't boil down to simply #s.

Well, the hopeful sign for Dig is that their second game was so shitty and they were obviously dissatisfied with their performance (at least in Zion's case). The main reason they went on such a long losing streak last split (aside from general inconsistency) was that it seemed to take them far too long to realize they weren't kings of the mountain; from the look of things they're curbing their enthusiasm this time around.

Hopefully.
