Passive laning Caitlyn:
Run 21 offense, 9 utility for the mana regen
1. Get traps at level 1
2. Push the first three wave with auto attacks when your support is done warding river so that the wave reaches tower
3. Let the lane push back to the middle of the lane while setting up these traps:
Make sure the enemy cant run through these traps without getting caught
If done right, the enemy can only run through the top side.
4. Now comes the fun bit. Whenever they step on a trap, Q them and auto attack them to death.
Whenever they try to enter the lane through the top left side, Q the entrance and poke them down again. The Q width is large enough to hit them 100% if you spaced out the traps well
This will deny them all the farm if they don't use skills.
All you have to do is last hit and freeze the lane in the middle of the lane. If you screw up and push it accidently, just push 2 more waves with auto attacks so it comes back to the middle of the wave.
I can't imagine a low elo player being able to farm at all if you play this right

Watching "best riven na" has re inspired me to play riven. Time for "decent riven LA" to return.
That's why you dont get near the traps. Caitlyn's range is massive. Leona is absolutely useless if you play this strategy.
If she wants to be of any use, she'll have to flash over the traps, then get a perfect E off.
Ezreal cannot do anything against caitlyn unless he is running mana regen runes so he can spam Q. Stand far away to dodge Q's and fire your Q if he decides to run in to get cs. You have 100more range than an ezreal so he can't trade with you.
Er, if Ezreal E's over the traps, he just killed himself.
Edit: And, Rex, add a Zyra so they're just doubly fucked if they hit a trap. The bottleneck created also gives an obvious target for Zyra EW.

The visual effects are what make this skin. Your power chords are so clear and obvious with it. Makes it harder to miss what you are doing so your teammates can follow up on it. I kind of wish that her other skins had such easy to read power chord visuals. RIP Guqin Sona
I do it solo queue all the time. Never lost lane once. Come out of lane with 40-80cs over the other adc.
I've vsed pretty much all the bot lane combos and the only problem I have is taric, ezreal but its mostly taric's armour buff.
If you can't beat it, run some armor pen runes

armor pen red, armor yellow, magic resist blue, lifesteal quin. Mastery 9/21/0, make sure you take all the -1 damage mastery so you can tank like 20 minions in front of your tower.
Q>W>E, if against riven just 1 Q, then max E first. If you leave the lane to join your team before the 40 min mark, you lost the game.

On topic: I think Riot needs to expand the lore of Runeterra and the surrounding world through more than just 3-4 paragraphs in their description. I also think the journal of justice doesn't do enough with the material they could be working with.
Maybe they should bring back those city vs. city showmatches and actually change the lore based on who wins. I think it would be a step in the right direction.

Wasn't the last city vs city thing way back in 2009? The Noxus vs Ionia that resulted in lucidity boots.
I was worried, but now i see she had little to do with ME3.
That's great and all.
But Dota 2 does this so much better with their character specific reactions to items and other heroes. Darius and Draven are brothers, I think. That's...all I know in terms of lore. I've never played Dota and only have played 1/4 as much Dota 2 as I have LoL and I know a ton more about the lore and characters.
Hearing someone shout "Nice try, sister" to their sister when they kill them or "My arrow hit your arrow's mark" when Drow kills Windrunner, little stuff like that is cool.
Well, the planet scanning was her idea, so it was totally justified.
I thought she was making iOS stuff, never knew she ended up in LoL. Meh, if there is a game where I don't give 2 shits about the lore is this one, but good on Riot for not neglecting it.
yeah lore isn't something that interests me much in LoL, it'll be interesting to see what happens as they continue though, as they navigate being the most played game in the world

It probably has more to do with being and AD caster versus being a support.
Model updates are not the same as champion reworks. Also bot lane sucks. Let it rot or whatever.

But Karma remake is a total remake and not just her model. TF and Nidalee will just be model remakes. Can't really compare them.
It also means people are less accepting of them in solo queue. I think I have had like 2 out of 20 games of Zed where someone didn't instantly go "Zed is garbage."
Yeah, that stuff kind of sucks. I dunno, for me it's more funny to get a reaction, but I only played one ranked game as Lulu top. People usually just don't like what isn't familiar because they know that works. Most of this is kind of a culture issue with the game where the same few champions always seem like they're picked. I'm always kind of shocked with how much Ezreal/Sona I'll see bot or Shen I'll see top in normal games. And then there's Lee Sin. People are really weird when it comes to picking stuff outside of this very small box, even when there's nothing on the line.
I think this may an exaggeration, or else EXTREMELY bad luck. Out of my last 10-15 Zed games, I don't think I had a single one where someone said Zed was garbage. A couple of those games, someone might have said "well good luck" or "we have no AP, gg", but even in those I don't think they said Zed was garbage, and they didn't rage.
I think some people were even nice enough to play Cho/Rumble/Vlad/Kennen top, and more often than not it I believe it worked out well for them that way.
I had one game where I was jungle and someone else was mid. They chose Zed, to my surprise, and at the last moment chose a different AP champion and said "lol jk zed is garbage."
So yeah, I have bad luck.
