Well, Nick obviously knows that we want something from LOK, so they gave us footage from the game and Bryke some stuff on his tumblr...

What? Do they really not have a trailer or Book 4 footage ready yet?

It could be, possibly, that all we'll get on October 3rd is the new episode, but the trailer or rest of the season won't come until much later, after the NYCC panel or november...

Could be Book 4 is not THAT ready yet, hence, no trailer? :S

Hope I'm proven wrong and wake up tomorrow morning with the trailer.

Of course Book 4 is ready, the entire season is finished. Why else would the premiere date be October 3rd?

They're just holding out on the trailer until next week.

BECAUSE I'M PARANOID NOW...

Also, because they would've told us they were finished.

Bryan and Mike have always let us know when they finished a Book, either by posting on their Tumblr's that it's "last day of voice recording!" or "only some finishing touches on the music."

Bryan was quiet since September 15, until yesterday, meaning he's been pretty busy and Book 4 is definitely not finished yet.

It's the end of Korra, of course they would post the fact that they just wrapped everything up. And they haven't, not even hints. In August, Janet Varney was still recording some extra voice work.

When Greg Weisman used to give updates on Young Justice, they would only have 2-3 episodes in the can, with the rest still in the works at any given time (although they probably finished a lot more during CN's ridiculous hiatuses). Maybe it's like that for Korra, too.
 
Just discovered this OT, and I can't wait. I can't believe there's just over a week left.

Anyway, I have high hopes for this season. Looking forward to it.

Placing it in the small gap of time between season 1 and 2 would have allowed them to address a pretty big gaping hole in the story (i.e the remnants of the equalists movement). Sure, you wouldn't be facing dark spirits but I think the equalists would be interesting enough to hold a game on their own.

I mean, this is canon right? Story better not fuck things up more.

Ugh, I'm gonna buy and play it anyways. But the concept of the game just sounds so dumb.

I'd forgotten how hilarious all the parachutes in the Korra Book One finale were.

Also, can Korra take people's bending away now? She can energybend, at least enough to give Lin (and I guess everyone else but it's never shown) her bending back, so I guess so. If I were her that's the first thing I'd do to Zaheer when she gets out of the wheelchair.

For Book 2, they finished mixing the final episode between the episode 10 and 11 broadcast.

I don't think so as she hasn't really attempted to take away someone's bending yet and she can't really consult with Aang any more on how to do it. So I guess she could give it a try but as shown before its a pretty dangerous tactic to use as you have the chance of it backfiring on you.
It might take a while for Korra to confront Zaheer again and possibly attempt to take Zaheer's bending away as it'll probably take her a while to deal with what happened to her in the Book 3 finale and I'm sure a metal jail should be secure enough in the mean time for holding Zaheer.

I really want to hear about Sokka's children in this season. He's the only member of the the original team avatar who we haven't seen the children of.

Just goes to show Nick really does not give a fuck. What is strange is, since it's not on TV it makes sense to not have the same kind of media dedicated to advertising it. Because it's online, it's easier to get out the message to people that the show is back digitally.

But to have NO advertisement..even online (like on social network sites)...that is crazy.

Would prefer that tbh. I want to watch all the episodes at ONCE. Screw this once a week BS. If it's not even going to air on TV in HD for free, just allow me to buy all the episodes at once.

Sokka cheated on Suki, and kept the pregnancy hush hush. Became a deadbeat father and acted like his daughter didn't exist. Refused to support Toph. Hey they already dragged Aang through the mud, this sounds totally plausible.

I kid. Obviously if he was the father it probably be something like Tooh didn't tell him. It was just a one off thing and he was off doing his thing. Although strange enough, Sokka and Toph would have loved together for some time in Republic City as adults. They worked together. I wonder what happened to Suki.

Toph got married to someone, had Lin, and he died or left or whatever. Sokka comes around to visit and comfort his longtime friend, and the two get together. The show obviously wouldn't do a one night stand scenario, so they would have probably married.

As far as I know there's no evidence to suggest that Sokka was single. ...right?
 
So is it confirmed that Zuko and Mai ended up together fully or is Zuko's wife/baby mama still a mystery

Why would Tenzin know that? I mean, I know he would be around during that time. But doesn't mean he knows every business of Toph's (who she slept with, and who is the father). We already know that Lin knows Suyin's father is someone different from her own. They share the same mother. So if neither of them know who either of their real father is, lol I would say it's pretty safe that Tenzin might not even know. He could have an idea I suppose.

I mean, if she was actually in a relationship with Sokka, then yeah, he would know.

They were together as lovers in the comics. But then she randomly breaks up with Zuko because his obsession with finding his mom. Lol

Not sure if they ever got back together after that (the comics never touch on this).
 
Yay, new trailer, wonder if it will be like the first trailers for all the Books with just awesome music or like the second trailers with words and junk.

It's going to be the former. They did the "second" trailers with voiceovers only for TV audiences, but that's not necessary anymore...

Bryke are big fans of music-only trailers.
