Great numbers, and here comes the holiday season + Switch Lite and the first real Pokemon game.

Wasn't a fan of Links Awakenings art style. Grezzo literally used the gameboy's artstyle as the basis rather than re imagined it.
Still glad it sold well though.

Crazy that I haven't played this new one but I've had my eye on it. I'm jumping on the first black Friday deal I see. From what I garner the sales are definitely deserved.

This makes me fuzzy inside :) What a stellar stream of output from Nintendo - and botw 2 and prime 4 to come! Oh yeh and pokemon...

I've not played it since launch where I beat it stupidly fast.

Anyway, was it ever patched to fix the stupid double buffering?

Crazy that the switch has caught up (if notable surpassed) the XBO in lifetime sales in roughly 1/3 the time.
It's kind of crazy that Link's Awakening sold for ten days, and made the all-time top ten Switch sellers.
Nostalgia sells. Its a super easy game but hell if it doesnt bring back a lot of good memories. Kinda hope they make a similar remake of the oracle games next.

i enjoyed playing it but as soon as i finished i sold it. doubt i'd ever want to go back to it. it's fun but just something about it made me never want to touch it again.

I already played Wind Waker and curently Breath of the Wild

This one is on my list after im done with botw

Any plans for Nintendo to remaster Skyward Sword to Switch?

None at this time, I'm afraid. Would love to see that game get a second, HD lease on life, and touch-ups. The thing kind of looked Disney movie on the Wii alone, and I think a remaster could be absolutely beautiful.

Controversial opinion: Not nearly my favorite Zelda game, but one that I had so much fun playing. Something about Skyward felt very classic, and old-school, in the very best way.

If it really has surpassed Xbone, that's a testament to how much Nintendo has done everything right, while Microsoft (at launch) floundered. Absolutely love what they're doing with Xbox these days, but it seems that specter hasn't been something they've been able to get rid of.

I love this version of LA, so I'm not quite on the same page, although I think we mostly are, but I agree that doing the Oracles next, and taking advantage of the technology they have set up, would be pretty awesome. Oracle of Ages is such a great game.
