Sophia, can you refresh my memory on how you felt about melon day 1? Any changes since then?
I was in an "I don't know" state with her. Her notes were, as I noted, lacking in hard stances. And as noted, she came to the defense of Bronx, which makes me curious given his Day 2 stances so far.
In light of acohrs flipping scum and her having acohrs as neutral, I find that read interesting.
Acohrs it has been already pointed out that this one has been all over the place. Very little content and not really engaging with anyone, despite multiple attempts from various people. Claiming ignorance and downplaying experience, despite winning their previous game as scum, and earning lots of kudos. D1 isnt that different from other days, so the defense rings a little hollow to me. My vote would for Acohrs however I not convinced Acohrs is scum, I starting that Acohrs wants people voting for him and possibly a neutral. Because as town, I want Acohrs to cut it out and get serious, if I was scum, I want Acohrs to cut it out and stop drawing so much attention D1. Neutral.
The bolded is a really wishy washy stance to take, which doesn't install confidence to me. But of course, would scum call out their own teammate openly like that? I'm also not sure why a scum player would mark their fellow scum player with such a neutral stance like this.
I wanna ask questions too!
If there's at least one active scum player, who do you think is most likely?
Also feelings about Stanley if you have any.
Don't have many feelings about Stanley. I think I recall him being a bit more active in Day 1, but I'd have to re-read stuff over. He's a blind spot for me.
As for there being a potential active scum player, I'm feeling neutral on cabot, slightly more confident about Kawl being town, and not so great about CzarTim being town.
In Tim's case, there was a lot of weird stuff from him at the end of Day 1.
He was hesitant about voting for me:
Still think Sophia is my strongest scum read, but it's super gut based and not comfortable pushing a vote there.
I think cabot is my strongest town read rn.
CCS feels much more reserved than last game. Like last game he seemed to be having more fun, but now he's not? Like he's cautious but here.
Agree with cab's statements on melon, and we've def. seen scum post their notes to show how townie they are before.
Vote:melonrabbit
Aco, I actually read him as frustrated townie when I / fran pushed him earlier. Like he couldn't understand why he was being pressured which reads more town than scum, who know and want to change.
I am not feeling super great today, but will be around. If it takes me a bit to reply, that's why./
And had a weak justification for it, which I called him out on:
I don't believe you should vote out someone who is contributing a lot to the discussion on day one, even if you are scum leaning them. If you are right, waiting to push them in future days gives you way more to work on in future days. If you are wrong, well you are doing scum's job for them. Town loses when it's big talkers are gone.
So yes, I am scum reading her, but it's a day one gut read and I am acknowledging she has been contributing positively to town regardless of alignment.
Chiming in real fast just to say a few things.
Firstly, I just want to say...
... this is a bit silly. If you think I'm scum, you should push for it. There are enough big talkers in this game that one of us getting removed isn't going to significantly impact the game on day one.
He was pushing for a narrative of a Sophia/Sorian team. One of whom is confirmed town now by virtue of being dead.
How does this preclude a Sophia / Sorian scum team? Not seeing it.
He then changed his mind about voting me out, and jumped on the vote after Ty4on had voted for me.
Vote: Sophia
my mind is a foggy mess rn, lets dance
Also, he wasn't feeling wise about going for at least one person who was confirmed scum:
Don't think it's wise to go ccs or aco today. So open question to anyone voting for them post implosion: if they flip town will you vote the other tomorrow?
But later jumped on the confirmed scum it when it looked clear that CCS, myself, or Aco was going to be flipped:
If I flip aco, will someone else join?
I'd rather see aco's flip, so I'll change if it's close at the end
In light of CCS trying to toss the lynch on to me, all of that doesn't make me feel confident about him, to say the least.
