Only part of Town Hall with weird and cool techniques is the roof.Ya, I suppose the first floor of the town house.

I wonder why the Pet Shop is 16+ and Town Hall is 14+.
How is buying from the Amazon Warehouse? Are usually the parts and instructions there, but like the box is torn up?
Considering a few items...
Bought this display case for my Minifigs today. Was on sale, so $30 or so. A couple of command strips to mount it on the wall. Opens from the front using magnetic snaps. Rather convenient.
Looks like a good alternative to the IKEA frames. Where did you buy it from?
I was strong today. I visited the local Lego store to see if there were any new bricks on the wall. The girlfriend asked if I was going to get PetShop. I remained strong and got out with just 6 of the Series 9 figs.

Town Hall is a simpler build. No crazy technique like some of the stuff in Pet Shop like upside down parts. I dunno. I am reaching here.
So I was in a toystore today..and saw the Alien Conquest mothership for 35 euro.
So I bought it....goddamn that thing is HUGE.... I have nowhere to put it.

I would like to know as well.
For shame. She gave you the go ahead to get Pet Shop and you didnt take it!
About an hour away in the train for me so happy with that!
Eight/nine hours for me, but still an improvement! Shall hopefully get a trip there this year!

I have a feeling this one will be a squeaker. Unless we do something insane: we must use both sets!
Two sets at the same time, man.
I am embarrassed that I did not think of that.
But it would be an interesting, yet more expensive, MOC experiment. The joint pieces and lime green aspects of the Power Mech combined with the hinge pieces and brown of Fierce Flyer.
Hmmm. No matter which set wins, I think I might try that on my own. For now though, fighting disassembling Fierce Flyer so I can keep it separate in case it wins the vote.
EDIT: Oh, and I love the fact that we have so many neat, inexpensive sets to choose from this time. And ones that not many people have either, and are very easy to find.
The better solution would be to have the winner be our next contest. The second contest will be the runner up. The third contest will be both combined so it's a gradual purchase for everyone.
The Chima sow s hilarious. It brings on a feeling of playing with toys really well.
Looking back at sets, I think "if only I started earlier."
I refuse to let any sets "get away" from this point on. There are some already that are "well, that would have been cool. But, oh well." Sets like Market Village and Shuttle Expedition. But they were never on the OMFG I must have it now!

So awesome. That needs to go on Cuusoo. I can imagine a LEGO micro theme similar to Architecture with stuff like this.
Never happen with the Star Trek license in Kreo's filthy hands.
Speaking of Chima, I keep seeing this set in the field and am tempted by this one. It looks so sinister and badass:
Dat black and purple!
Ended up ordering the Vampyre Hearse from Amazon Warehouse for $27.19.
Still thinking over a Ninjago Kai's Fire Mech, and the Monster Hunter's Werewolf.

Just stopped at a local walmart, they had two full boxes of series 8 minifigs on clearance for $2 each. I only grabbed 5 figures, but thinking about going back and grabbing a whole box. Worth it? I'd only keep one full set for myself, have a friend who's interested in another set. That would leave another full set and some spares, but shouldn't have a problem getting rid of them.

My son got it for free today at his Lego Club meeting! It does look like a fun set! And sinister too!
Will that somehow be a gateway Lego into the Chima universe?
The bird Chima sets make me think of that 80's Buck Rogers show. Some of the sets are really interesting, but most look blah to me.
Get all of them and return what you don't want!
So grabbed 60 of them and headed to the checkout. They rang up at $1 each!

To all LEGO fans: what is your consensus on CUUSOO?
