Try this. When I was 11 I was getting ready for school, put on my pants, felt something crawling on me and looked down to see a huge spider (well huge to an 11 year old) crawling up from my leg to my stomach. Freaked me out. For like years after I had to shake a pair of pants before I put them on.
I once was laying down about to go to sleep. Luckily I checked my phone before putting my head down, and the light from the phone revealed a spider crawling on my pillow straight toward my face. Of course I freaked the fuck out, jumped up, turned on the light, and wanted to end his miserable existence but I couldn't find him. Slept on my horribly uncomfortable futton, and a very poor sleep it was.
House Centipede are ugly but they eat spiders, so they're fine by me.
Once had a nightmare about spiders only to wake up with a spider crawling on my face, thankfully nobody was home to hear me scream :/

Finally got internet in the new apartment. GayGaffers this has been a stressful 2 weeks, sit back and let me tell you about it.
First off the boyfriend and I got evicted from our place and given 3 days to find a new place. It seems our landlord wasn't really our landlord just some guy who was renting the place out and subletting it to us, which is illegal here. The lord Jesus must've been on our side because we actually found a place that was better than the place we got kicked out off, so it worked out in the end.
Now the good news, we went to Dublin to celebrate my boyfriend's sister's daughters christening and the stereotype about Irish people are correct...we got so drunk. We started drinking at 3pm and stopped at 4am. Really enjoyed myself. My better half was also celebrating graduating from university with a doctorate. I was so damn proud. It also surprises me to think he is a doctor because I believe he's the smartest dumb person I have ever met
Anyway here are a few pictures from the graduation that I really liked.

Least y'all have schooling to fall back on. I'm currently sitting in a Starbucks looking for a job on this ipad. I even asked my old boss if he has any management position open but the store is over 30 miles away one way. I don't think he is gonna pay me that much (last time when I left I made $8 an hour) so it would be more expensive to go there :/

My friend got denied a job at Teach for America and he's pretty bummed about it. I wish I knew what to say to him.
If I remember right the VC version has a slightly better framerate, so it's not that big of a loss.

NPD numbers are brutal for ViitaU as usual. But man, you know you're in trouble when the old Wii outsells Vita almost 3 to 1. It's kind of fascinating that we're witnessing two big bombas simultaneously, and coming from companies that are usually successful.

This clip from Maria del la Barrio always makes me laugh out loud, I'm glad to see there's an article about it. My Spanish is extremely bad, so I can only understand a word or a phrase here and there, but still, I laugh every time. If any of you guys feel a bit down, this is a great pick-me-up!

Mexican soap operas were huge in Croatia up until three years ago, when Turkish soap operas started airing (with their 90-minute episodes, just horrible). Until I was 14-15, I used to watch every Mexican show that aired on our national television, from Esmeralda to Lasoz de Amor to Marisol. I don't know which one was worse, but they always had that unintentional campiness, over-the-top plots and acting, which was appealing to me then. I guess it's a gay thing, lol

- Not akward.
- Doesn't mean anything.
I do it a lot with people - be them straight or gay.
Not just movies, but going out for a beer. Seems pretty normal for me...

As for horror stories - about 18 months ago I moved from my parents home, and on the first day I got scarred. I was taking a shower, washing my hair when suddenly I felt a tingle on my foot. I looked down and saw a cockroach walking on it. I freaked out, grabbed a bucket that was in the shower and smashed it to pieces. That was terrible. Usually I can't get near them, so to find out that I have one walking on me while I'm in the shower - naked and vulnarable - was horrifying.

You guys are dealing with inoffensive animals, tell me when you find a snake in your house when you are alone (this has happened to me twice and on both ocassions I was alone and had to kill both snakes while I was in tears).
Also one of my dogs died by killing a poisonous snake years ago :'(

Spotify had a tent at Coachella last weekend where you could take a picture (seen in the bottom left) and it would make a collage of your picture with album art from artists performing at the festival. I was thankfully wearing my rainbow bandanna and it came out pretty neat.
also they had cool installations, one of which was a spaceman which would rove around the festival grounds, and at night his helmet would illuminate and show pictures/videos of stuff.

You mean gay books as in books with gay characters or books about homosexuality? If it's the latter, then I'm currently looking at two books: "Homosexuality and Civilization" by Louis Crompton and "A Natural History of Homosexuality" by Francis Mark Mondimore. Based on the samples (in both books the first chapter is about ancient Greek) both look very interesting and well written. The former puts more focus on history and the view on homosexuality in various civilization and is more in-depth in that regard, while the other (based on the table of content) tries to cover not only history, but also psychology, biology and other topics connected to homosexuality.
It makes me mad that the Kindle versions of both books are more expensive than their paper equivalents. It shouldn't work like that :/

Honestly... I think it was a good idea to refuse the invitation. Yesterday at night my best friend told me she honestly just wanted to kill herself and I just spent the rest of the night talking to her and basically telling her that many people care for her and just trying to make her feel better. Today we went on a 2 hour walk because I wanted to make sure she was feeling better, she said she was better but I can't trust her because she seemed fine yesterday at school and it turns out it was the complete opposite. Also, last summer she fucking stopped eating and had to take medication and I was completely oblivious to it because she never told me anything until a few months ago.
Didn't really feel like doing much after that... I'm also sorry for all the damn ranting but my Sister is out of town and I don't do these kind of talks with my Mom anymore.
