I've kinda always wanted to.No one want to visit Canada?
It can be annoying when it gets really dark at 3 and black at 4.I want to live in one of those socialist paradise countries without sun.
I live in Canada so I'm like half way there.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Almost all my favorite products, media, contests, shows, special offers, etc. are seemingly aimed at the U.S.
I might relate. I find in groups I tend to hang back from speaking, and often I'll feel pressure that I should say something. For me it's actually better that I don't if I feel that way, because if I utter an idea prematurely (before I work out what it is I'm saying) it usually disrupts the flow of the conversation because we have to stop and figure out what I was trying to get at, and then I feel horribly embarrassed, and I don't get out what I meant to say at all so I just end up creating this pointless cul de sac in the conversation. That's also me in University with class discussions and stuff, some people are such good off-the-cuff speakers and I kind of envy them. I'm good on one on one conversations, but interjecting is pretty problematic for me if I don't think quite a bit on it first, and often by then the moment has passed.
Ackshully, it's the country I'd like to visit the most from this continent :] Plus we're NAFTA bros and stuff. And poutine. No one want to visit Canada?

I wanted to live there as I have my uncles there. However I found out it would take 4 years minimum to validate my degree what means I would be paid less than my peers for 4 years, and given that I'm well past the age for a first job, it became a non optionNo one want to visit Canada?
Oh hell yeah! One day I'm gonna visit Canada too.
I pretty much only listen to hip hop lmao. My favorite rapper right now is Killer Mike, especially because of R.A.P. Music, RTJ, and RTJ2.
Del the Funky Homosapien used to be my favorite, but he fell off like crazy. MF DOOM is still good. Danny Brown's Old was great, and so was Earl Sweatshirt's Doris. GKMC got robbed at the Grammy's but the judges are frauds anyway. That's a couple recent things. I need to listen to more things this year -- Freddie Gibbs', Ratking's, and Busdriver's albums were good though.
I think I heard a song by Young Thug, but I don't remember. Show me a song.
You joined RPJ! You look great!
I've gone twice. Great place to visit. Toronto was awesome, and went along the St. Lawrence seeing beautiful countryside. Second trip was Nova Scotia. Looked like a fishing town postcard in a lot of places. Beatiful and relaxing. I'll definitely visit Canada again.

However one of my motivations for wanting to live in Seattle is to be near Vancouver
I can live there right now if I wanted to.
It's pretty great from what I remember.
Because I've grown up here all of my life and I go to school here. Why aren't you then
I've kinda always wanted to.

Ah. Yes, this is also true of me. Though in university my problem may have been that I often had neglected to do the class reading in time for the class discussion and only did it later. Maybe. Possibly.
That's actually like an hour or so earlier than where I'm at (around the solstice at least), so not too bad. It is a weird feeling though. I almost feel like I should light routine bonfires so the outdoors doesn't feel so cold and bleak all the time.

This is the year I relocate to Japan temporarily, though. I'm uber hyped, but also quite anxious :x
Because I've grown up here all of my life and I go to school here.
And I don't like the cold.
Last month was horrible, it was dark when i got in to work and dark when i left (cuz it was rainy all day long).
I'm going all in on that 50/50 challenge. Still haven't started reading a book, but the movies count is growing steady.
Just finished watching The Help. That was a good movie. Feel-good and optimistic, that's what I needed after today's events. Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Emma Stone were all amazing in it.
Yesterday I watched The Fault In Our Stars and got all choked up by the end of it. I didn't expect it to be so good. The night before that, I watched Gone Girl. It was thrilling to say the least.
All three of those movies were based off of books, which makes me realize that that's how most of movies are made nowadays.
Same here. This term I'm regretting going into a program that involves a lot of reading and writing. That's supposed to be in my wheelhouse but that doesn't help if I don't want to do it, lol.
Yeah. I feel like I would be better about it now, though.
That must be why everyone has so many lights put up as Christmas decorationThat's actually like an hour or so earlier than where I'm at (around the solstice at least), so not too bad. It is a weird feeling though. I almost feel like I should light routine bonfires so the outdoors doesn't feel so cold and bleak all the time. I like it at first because it's a cool atmosphere, but eventually it kind of gets inside you.
I'm in FL. Both Orlando and in the southeast. It's kinda nice, but what do you want to know?
I'm socially dead and don't know any gay people outside work/school casually, but there's definitely some around and it seems fine. I'm out, but I guess not many people know.
I like the atmosphere and the weather is nice about 50% of the time.
But I don't want to live here. I'd rather be a visitor.
In regards to this matter, I actually feel like the stereotypey teenage girl who is pretty nervous about it. What if I don't please when it comes to it? Will it hurt? What should I do? so anxious... all dem expectations... I mean, hetero sex can't be this terrifying can it? That one makes too much sense with no doubts about what sex actually means in the first place.
This is true. I wish I weren't - or rather I wish that I felt less inhibited about speaking when I wanted to. I don't mind not speaking when I don't feel like I have something to say, because Lord knows the world doesn't need another inane chatterer, but sometimes I do have something to say, and fail to out of some vague sense of not wanting to draw attention to myself or whatever.
Got the initial go-ahead for the video game character sexualization from an LGBT perspective thread. Now I gotta put together a draft and send it to bishoptl.
Look forward to an OT for the next English gay dating sim too (No, Thank You!!! for PC) in the nearish future. (Whenever it releases, which should be soon.)

Anyone live in Florida? Im thinking of moving to Atlanta or somewhere in FL to be closer to my family and i was hoping for some first hand experiences.
Us and Pakistan. 21Well, that and your absurd drinking age.
Us and Pakistan. 21
(I didn't drink until 21 and i barely drink now. Nothing against it and I'll partake, but I've never been in a scenario to get drunk yet)
Don't fall too far behind on books! It's much easier to catch up on movies than it is on books, after all.
Do you have any ideas?
Bad weather here is either a partial day of rain, or humid hot (hasn't been a notable hurricane in years). But honestly it's never terrible for long. And it's great a lot of the time. I can see why lots of people would like living here.Im not sure. I was i terested in any strong feelings one way or the other. My parents are in Melbourne, FL and my brother, sister and my nephew are in Atlanta. I just know im really done with winter. Ive lived in the midwest most of my life and im through with it.

For the first time?Just finished watching The Princess Bride.
For the first time?
D'awwwSo much love in this gif <3
Thanks.Great to hear, look forward to seeing them.
It's true that watching 50 movies is gonna be easy quite easy and quick. But don't worry! I already have my first book planned, and since comic books do count, I thought I'd get started with this one:
My brother gave it to me at Christmas. I always was intrigued by it, and I've seen it a lot at other friends' house.
If you've got any book suggestions I'm all ears! I don't really have a favorite genre, even though I thought this would be the perfect time to catch up on some classics I've missed.
For what it's worth, I've never seen you make a poorly-considered post, you always seem to convey your position perfectly.
Thanks.
If anyone has any suggestions of what kind of characters or games that have LGBT appeal you'd like to see featured/discussed as examples, please let me know. I'm pulling together a some pics now, but of course it's hard not focus on things I personally like. :3
Other than Bioware games, are there other games with specific LGBT appeal? Because I can't think of any.
Well, there are definitely others, (remember~ :3) but I don't just mean games with specific LGBT content, rather any aspects of character design that appeals to gay gamers, whether intentionally or not.Other than Bioware games, are there other games with specific LGBT appeal? I'm gonna try and touch on that too, but as you said, there's not much to work with. Plus, I can't speak from personal experience on that front, so I'll be relying more on others to chime in.I'm guessing that this is intended to focus on multiple kinds of appeal - representation, in terms of LGBT characters and the romance options that you mentioned; as well as specific instances of sexualisation intended for a non-straight audience, such as the alternate costumes in recent Resident Evil games and many of the design decisions in the Metal Gear series. Though admittedly, it's difficult to find even similarly mild examples of visual design decisions intended to appeal to a non-heterosexual audience beyond gay men - too many depictions of same-sex attraction between women don't seem to be targeted at a female audience, and female characters designed to appeal to women are vanishingly rare.
Gone Home, just as an example. I even made a thread for it once because I liked it so much.Other than Bioware games, are there other games with specific LGBT appeal? Because I can't think of any.
Will you also feature Morenatsu? I mean, well, it has anthro characters but it's still a gay dating sim so it would kinda fit. Just a suggestion, it's your thread so you decide what examples you want to include.Well, there are definitely others, but I don't just mean games with specific LGBT content, (remember~ :3), but just any aspects of game/character design that appeals to gay gamers, whether intentionally or not.
A prime example being Chris Redfield after his RE5 redesign. (He will be featured heavily in the topic.) While his new look was almost certainly not initially intended to turn Chris into a gay gaming icon, it certainly has. And since then with subsequent appearances, it seems like Capcom is trying to capitalize on that to a certain degree, or they are totally unaware to a hilarious degree. XD
This topic is mostly going to focus on character design. Like what types of character you find appealing/attractive. What types of characters you'd like to see. If attractive characters in gaming is important to you, etc. It's supposed to be fun and positive.
