People can be pretty easy to approach in university, if for no other reason than being someone you can ask about what you missed if you were absent or something.

Oh no, I thought you were already planning on getting one.

Well, there is Xenoblade as an exclusive, but for me it's mostly just the faster processor (loads apps faster) and the improved 3D with eye tracking what could interest you. Plus it has a slightly bigger screen than the 3DS XL.


I'm still going to get the N3DS (smaller version) though since it has faceplates (those Animal Crossing faceplates are too cute!) and coloured button.

On my N3DS XL, the 3D is turned on all the time. I don't even realise it's "on" anymore, and it makes replaying old games like Starfox absolutely amazing.

It's by far it's best feature, amongst the other cool features like everything loading and downloading super fast because of the increased CPU, Amiibo support and the C-Nub (it's not a stick).

Plus future games that are compatable with both OG 3DS and N3DS can utilize it's power (theres a thread in Gaming that shows comparison shots of Monster Hunter 4 looking better with it's textures and shadows on the N3DS).

That's a new and cynical perspective on it to me that I hadn't heard before this thread, but I don't get around much to have heard many people discuss it elsewhere anyway.

I'd understand if something like a major organization with publicity could seem disingenuous including allies in some cases, but considering the almost purely social nature of the community thread, I don't understand it having some sort of skewed or confusing meaning in this context or what we would gain from taking ally out of the equation here.

I've always wondered about how they figure out who gets to make each OT for specific games and such. I assumed they maybe either tried to message a mod or something, but just curious how they know whether or not someone else is already making an OT for a certain thing.

Yeah I have no idea. Gaming side in its entirety is kind of a mystery to me.

Eh, that's true. I think a lot of what holds me back is that I'm afraid of being a nuisance.

I was going through the trough that is Comcast's xfinity thing and picked one of the movies i've never heard of that doesn't look like it was made in the 80's. " Mosquita y Mari " is the movie i landed on and was surprised at how it ended. It teased my expectations on the typical Act 1 *thing happens*, Act 2 *bad/good thing happen*, Act 3 *bad thing happens*. Then didn't follow that expectation and did it's own thing. The main downside is there's a lot of spanish spoken and no subtitles for the spanish except spanish. Like 80% of the movie is in english although

I'm late on this, but I don't mind the Ally inclusion in this case (at least applied to the thread title) because the A doubly serves a purpose as actual minority representation, rather than it being exclusively for allies. If it were, like, LGBTQIA and Allies or something it wouldn't sit right with me, but I think the double entendre in this case is the way to go.

I remember reading a long time ago that gay men are slightly more endowed than straight men. I remember my friends (almost all of them straight) chuckling about it while side-eyeing me & Greg..
