Life needs a Quicksave/Quickload option.

For example, in a game you can quicksave before a dangerous event because you have a bad feeling and you're low in ammo and health.

In real life, you could quicksave a week before a big test and if you get a bad grade, just load that save and try again.

Quicksave before approaching a girl, or before a big party so you could quickload if you make a total ass of yourself.

Need a raise? Quicksave before a meeting with the boss and ask for one. If he rejects it and even gets pissed, quickload.

There's a lot of examples I could come up with. Where do I send money to make this happen?

Quicksave before sex. If she slaps you after asking to FHUTA, then quickload and don't ask her this time.

"Hmmm...should I give her the shocker?" *quicksave* "Let's find out!"

I would have multiple back-ups when I knew cool shit was going to go down just so I could relive the experiance. That is my numero primo wish-o.

Quicksaving during sports would be my favorite.

tennis eg : in case you're not sure whether to serve and volley because you're afraid your opponent will hit a passing shot that will humiliate the fuck out of you. Quicksaving before the serve would be the answer.

Can be applied to any sport, really. Just before you're about to do an uber-cool but extremely difficult move that you risk messing up. If you quicksave, you could quickload to before you made a complete ass out of yourself.

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
Perhaps, but it might ruin life's gameplay - no challenge. Rather, one should be able to gain save points based upon a karma points system.

The problem with quicksaves in life would be similar to the problem in games: saving at an unrecoverable point.

When you learn that you have a fatal disease you probably have already made a quicksave past the point where you could reload and not be ill. Damn!

Of course then you could just have an endless Groundhog Day.

Nevermind the quicksave/load, life fucking needs a ctrl-f function.

I agree. I always think of that, I got so used to finding any info I need on the computer/internet by simply typing a query in a search box... A couple of times when I was holding a text book, for a split second I seriously looked for the Search option before realizing that I've been spending too much time in the digital world.

I do that with books ALL THE TIME. Especially in novels when a minor character comes back and I don't quite remember what happened last time they where in the plot, I always want to search back the name and reread the previous section.
