Which I own...But The post-SNES Nintendo is a company I never understood.

I remember reading long time ago that Nintendo was totally against any kind of game involving a gun...Dunno why...That's why GC never had any port of any shooter while DC, PS2 and XBOX deffinitelly had them.

That doesn't make any sense considering they included light guns out of the box for NES.

There was a huge backlash in the mid 90s against light guns and violent shooting games due to Columbine and several other similar school shooting incidents.. Since then, no major 1st party has ever pushed light guns for their console, mainly to avoid controversy.

It will be interesting to see what parents thing of the Revolution. If there are enough ultra violent shooters on it, it just may eschew Nintendo's kiddy image after all =)

There was a post by Peer at IGN which mentioned the ability to calibrate so the rev knows where your TV is. You'd do something like point to icons at the 4 corners of the screen and press 'A'. I suppose you'd do this before a lightgun game.

Of course, if you did this wrong everything would be off.
