The people who bitch about digital-only are still going to bitch about limited print runs in small amounts.

Obviously, I can't comment on what the floor is for minimum print run quantities, but imagine if some games receive smaller amounts.

Oh shit, I LOVE THIS. I go out of my way to get physical copies of digital only games and would pay, even if I had to pay a premium, to have a physical copy of many games that I eventually bought digitally.

Hopeful for Rocket League and Super Mega Baseball hard copies, and hell, even Bastion on Vita card would be great. I'd pay 100% markup to get that last one.

AFAIK, these guys are in talks with Renegade Kid to release something for 3DS but the minimum print numbers for Nintendo are much higher than for Sony, so it may end up being partly or fully crowdfunded.

I think the focus is on Sony right now because they are more flexible with print runs.

JF: Sony consoles and handhelds are the main focus right now, and that's due to how progressive Sony is with allowing smaller publishers to do physical runs. I can't go into detail, but their minimum order quantities are incredibly reasonable compared to Microsoft and Nintendo. I don't get the feeling that either of the latter want to waste their time with smaller print runs. This is just one more reason on the pile of reasons to develop for Sony.

Both sold out, the PS4 one much faster.

Today's news confirms that the minimum is at least even lower (1500).
