What if you just missed the soundtrack but ordered both regular versions (1 copy each) and want to try for the OST again?

I probably won't, but would still like to know. It did feel kind of shitty not being able to procure the soundtrack even when I added it to my cart at the exact second of release.

Would be a hassle for you but would be nice for your customers who got screwed by the store system. I had both in the cart while available and the PS4 copy sold out before I could even log in to check out.

That ebay seller has their address listed hopefully most of those copies will be cancelled and put back in the pool

Those eBay links are crazy, especially because if you missed it you can just try again at 6pm. Pretty gross to see scalpers preying on people like that.

Very glad to see they are reevaluating future games print numbers. Its obvious there is enough demand there to sale more for sure. I can imagine Cosmic Star Heroine will be especially in high demand considering the hype with that. I know I want to be able to get a copy of that too, so it would be nice to see it and future releases have more copies available for all of us that want it to be able to get them.

A) Leave a note asking to cancel a copy from your original order
B) Email me at Douglas@limitedrungames.com if you feel too pressured to leave a note with these selling out to fast and give me your order numbers.

Now that everything is sold out I can comb through these. I won't be sending out emails to people if you abused the system by doing multiple orders to get more then 2 copies per order.

They really need to move to a limited preorder system then everyone who wants a copy can get one but they probably won't do that since it would hurt their model of limited batches ready to ship within the day.

It's a tough one to judge I suppose, the Kotaku article went about it completely the wrong way, rather than "great, physical releases of games we never thought would happen!" they basically told everyone to buy them because they'll be worth money. B&C took a while to sell out, these took minutes, how many of those people were more interested in selling for a profit and would likely not bother with a much bigger print number? It wouldn't bother me but I guess it's something LRG have to evaluate.

Also, if I understand correctly I can order a Vita copy during the next batch, send you a mail and have my previous PS4 order merged with that so I only pay the shipping costs once, right?

No I am sure they ordered 2 copies on 3 accounts and are keeping 1. Hopefully they were stupid enough to use the same address or payment method for all the orders so they can be cancelled.

Also for those that may have missed the news (not LRG related): Giana Sisters & Last Tinker are receiving a physical release for PS4 on Feb. 9th. It's from a publisher named Soedesco (?). Never heard of them.

Congrats to LRG! I have severely underestimated the demand again.

And don't be mad at the scalpers, just let it happen. There's nothing that can be ever done about it. Save yourself the frustration.

I like how that ebay seller couldn't even be bothered putting specifics like platform, print number etc that will help them sell. Not even good at being scum or willing to expend any effort on what's already and effortless hustle.

Apparently the website doesn't like my phone at all. Had a copy in my cart, went to check out and had an error that removed it from my cart. Put one of the last two in my cart and couldn't actually get to my cart, clicked on it but wouldn't go to it to check out.

Got to see the last three sell as I tried to buy it.

If you've made 3 accounts to order 6, I'd say that counts as circumventing the 2 per person limit.

No the site sold out of PS4 copies almost instantly but their inventory tracker was broken by the sheer amount of orders. I had a copy in my cart at exactly 10 and the ps4 copy sold out while I was signing in to pay for it.

Nice. Soedesco must have published the UK releases.

That company published the physical copies of Teslagrad for PS4 (US & UK) and Vita (only UK so far, but I'm waiting for them to hurry up and get the US release out... should be relatively soon but they're taking way too long imo).

The key for me as I have 2 step on paypal is to log into the site and get your 2 step logged in within 5 min as it resets after that. When I went to buy I had a browser page up for both the vita and PS4 version.... refreshed added each to cart.. then clicked paypal and it logged me in instantly without any 2 step and I was out the door in well under 45 seconds...

so super smooth for me but my word if you slack at all you are out of luck. And this is only going to get worse!!!

Congrats to LRG... this is awesome and I hope you continue with this great service!

Yep but that's only if they were stupid. If they had 3 different payment methods and shipping addresses then they will get away scott free. Should have been limited to 1 per then they would have only gotten 3. Would have probably given the PS4 version a few more minutes at least. Who knows though they aren't going to go back and fix it now.

If they share the same computer or something then by the time one was bought the other could miss out. I know in this day and age that isn't as likely with how many computers, tablets and phones are in the average house but it could still happen. But more so I meant two per shipping address since to properly enforce it they would need it to be a limit per shipping address not account so using the same account to order both copies shouldn't be an issue really. After all if it is one per account with no limit per address the hoarders would just sit there with a bunch of accounts open and quickly checkout. With the address information saved and logged in to PayPal in advance it literally only takes a couple of seconds to complete orders so without a shipping address limit it would be easy for them to abuse the system. If anything two per account would make it easier to monitor for abusive orders. But honestly hoarders will always find a way.

Doesn't impact me though so I am fine with a one copy limit all the same as I am with a two copy limit. I am just happy to get my one Vita copy again just like I was with Breach & Clear. Seems Vita demand was a bit lower and that is what I collect for more so than PS4 so guess there will be less stress on us Vita buyers than PS4 buyers. Although I still expect Cosmic Star Heroine chaos. I will just sit here refreshing for Oddworld now.

Yep. I wish they'd get it over with so I can stop feeling like I should import the UK one just in case, and end up overpaying+double dipping. I already inadvertently did that with Child of Light and it wasn't cool.

If you only bought 1 why do you care if they go back and limit to 1? I'm not throwing a hissy fit I just think they should limit the original run to 1 per if they are doing it for batch 2. Would give more people a copy since yeah I would like 1 copy of the ps4 version.

I think LRG is doing everything within their power to make these purchases fair, while still remaining Limited. They realize that some of the demand comes from the fact that these releases are rare and try to strike a balance where they are in demand and ensure that as many people as possible are able to order them.

I think they are doing a good job. I was unable to get the soundtrack bundle but was able to grab the games.

If they promised 2 per at the beginning they shouldnt go back on their word an limit later. That's a dick move.

It doesn't matter what people do with those 2 copies, that's not your business.

Maybe someone agreed to buy a copy for a friend and that'd fuck them over.
