Plane Escape Torment
Lisa: The Joyful is out now. Great conclusion to the story.
One of the early areas of the game has you stumble upon a guy who is raising a bunch of orphan boys. When one of them plays with matches and lights one, he asks Brad to grab him the bucket of water which you can see right next to you. As Brad picks it up and throws it on the match the kids alight in a roaring blaze and the Orphanage owner tells you that was his bucket of gasoline and to go get the bucket of water that is up on top of a cliff. On your way back down with the bucket, the kids have already turned to ash. And when you talk to the poor owner he lets you know that this is the "2nd worst day in his life" I may have had tears from laughing so hard.
No need to apologize, this is a great thread.I apologize if I bumped this thread unnecessarily but I had to point out that LISA is currently on sale on Steam.
2.99$ for the base game and 6.79 for the complete edition.
The game can be violent/unsettling at a lot of points, but I'm not seeing that shown-off too much in the OP. Why does the thread need a trigger warning? Other adult games don't have them. Please, put the trigger warning in the title of the thread next time. Thank you.

There's a minigame you can absolutely skip where you have to dodge some barrels in the game's limited movement engine, but otherwise it's a Earthbound-style RPG (there are a few areas with random encounters rather than enemies being on screen though) and the sidescroller look doesn't really make it too much of a platformer. Is this game ever have reflex based platformer section? or its Earthbound-esque for throughout the game.
I want to buy, but don't want to stuck if there's reflex based section

I definitely wouldn't call it 'reflex based' at least.
lisa: the joyful is almost entirely reflex based, but this game isn't.
Im playing through the game for the first time, IT'S A BLAST!
Why doesn't this game get more praise compared to Undertale, is it just because the theme are darker ?
Gonna buy this!
Does it support controllers?
we should really have a thread about this games soundtrack. i've been listening to it for 2 years now.
I haven't played the game more than an hour but what I've heard of the soundtrack is amazing. One of the most striking soundtracks I've ever heard. I want to finish the game before I listen to the rest so I hear it in the proper context!
