Hopefully the DLC is fixed soon. I got the PreOrder DLC to work but I gave up after fixing the popit issue last night, was too tired to deal with more issues. All the actual game stuff looks great though. Anyone tried this with Shareplay yet? I was going to try it with a friend who (I think) doesn't have LBP3

Played the top MM picks for Swoop and Oddsock last night and holy fuck, that is the most fun I've ever had playing LBP.

Son of a stitch, even after deleting all saved costumes and stickers, it still freezes when unlocking LBP1 stuff.

What gives?

Finally got it! Had to select "merge LBP profiles" for it to work.

Finally turned on the PS4 to install this. Popped in the disc, couldn't get into the PS Store to apply my Amazon and Day One Edition codes. Pop over to downloads.... "oh yea, GTA V is out and downloading. And so is a 2.4 GB Destiny update". Gonna be a while until I can play. I want to get the theme first :D

You can pause downloads now. The LBP one is pretty quick (300mb apparently, downloaded crazy fast for me though)

oddsock though. those wall jumps and those speed wall/floor material and velociporter though. lol.

just finished the story. really liked it. time to ace and 100% all the levels now. fml.

EDIT: but first i'm going to do the popit puzzles and collect prize bubbles ;P

I can't believe how clever these levels are. I've played every single one of these games before, but this is the first time I've actually had to think. The level design for single player is simply superb and they definitely need to be commended for it.

On the flip side, I went to community and checked out just a single player made level and was met with horrendous screen tearing, awful aliasing and frame rate dips into the low 20s or maybe even lower. Should I be seeing this? Is this an issue with lbp1 or 2 compatibility? The single player levels had non of this and were far more detailed.

I have bought LBP2, LBP PSP and LBP vita on my UK account. I think I must have had LBP1 on disc. I don't have much (if any) paid for DLC.

I'm tempted to buy the US version rather than wait another ten days for the UK release. But will I lose anything? I'do play the game signed in with my Uk account, so will items from previous games still unlock for me? What exactly does unlock normally? Wondering if it might be worth also buying LBP1 digitally to get access to more items?

I'm not 100% sure on the following but...

If it's the same account you're playing on it should give you access to LBP1 and 2 assets however, you will not be able to access your DLC purchases on a US copy of the game.

You won't be able to access UK dlc from the US game. Regardless of region though, if you've played LBP1 or gained pins from LBP2 at any point, it will unlock all of the LBP1 stuff regardless of how far you've gotten and LBP2 stuff based on your pin history.

Many community creators don't know when to say when and cram as much crap into every area, which usually tanks the framerate.

OK good. It wasn't a particularly well made level. It was on the "busiest levels" section or something. Called Titanic. It was awful. Gonna stick with MM picks I think from now on.

Edit: BTW the ps4 dynamic theme is well worth buying. You can read everything and it runs smooth.

I still have my PS3 but I'm not likely to go and finish 100%ing 2 when I have 3 brand new and barely played. I suppose I should eventually go back to 1 and get that Create trophy and the platinum. Stupid hearts mumble grumble

Depends on how the creator designed their level.

Thanks, it sounded like the unlocks are account based, not Region based. I'm probably fine with losing UK DLC (need to consider how much future DLC I might buy though)

Can you cancel UK preorders?

Just make sure you finish LBP2. You don't have to get all the bubbles, just finish it and get that final pin. You'll get LBP1 stuff regardless.

I thought I ran into a bug. Early on there is a prt where you fall into a pit with the walls closing in. I got caught behind them after they shut, but was not dead. I though I glitched out so I killed myself, but the spawner was behind the walls with me. After starting from the beginning, I saw there was a gate to climb up. So I guess it was not a glitch, just me missing the obvious. I did have the game crash once on me.

Also, what is the deal with the costume that I previously bought? They say I own them, but I cannot download them (maintenance?) or use them. Strange.

Same problem I had last night. Scared me too lol played some single player last night, quite fun. Didn't get too far but it's just as great as usual.

Great, linked up my LBP.me account automatically and downloaded all my old content. I see some friends from Spain and Portugal are already playing. Haven't run around with them in years. Very impressed. Sumo Digital added some great improvements. And boy do I have a lot of costumes. I think I'll stick with Delsin for Sackboy and Dragon Age stuff for everyone else.

No, anything you can do in create on the PS2 you can do in LBP3. Just get the job done and get that last pin. Make sure it's on LBP.me too.

jesus. did sony break their share feature. i can't upload pictures to twitter. it keeps going to the you have logged into twitter from psn and give me a log out button. when i do facebook it doesn't upload.

When you get that twitter thing, just press circle and it should go to the upload page. I dunno WTF happened, that's a new bug, but I have successfully posted since. I have no idea why it asks you to log out.

Dunno about FB, never tried it.

I got that last night too. YT uploading suddenly stopped working too.

What order are you folks going to tackle LBP3? I'm going to:

Download LBP1/LBP2 content
Beat the Poppit Puzzles
Download all my previous DLC and beat that (If they're up)
Take my time getting everything in singleplayer
Hit CREATE!

basically the last thing i'll do is create so everything else is in random order lol.

I was planning on story with popit puzzles and player created levels when I get tired of marathoning. I guess I should play the stroy stuff online, that was super fun in the first one, then I played 2 local co op. I started solo so I could get my bearings but I don't want to do the whole thing solo.

I immediately grabbed the LBP1&2 stuff and was hoping to get my DLC back but it's not all in the store yet. I liked my Kratos and Nariko sackboys.

Buy US version
Download LBP1/2
Check my earth etc is all ok
Do single player run through
Poppit puzzles
Single player more thoroughly
