Live countdown to major Persona team announcement from Atlus [Summary in OP]

Another custom scene based on the November 22 date? This time from P3P?

Or perhaps this is actually what happened on November 22 in P3P.

I was about to say, I don't think there are any real major events that happen in late November in P3. Not until the decision point in early Dec.

To add to that, going all the way with a girl unlocks a special Persona of her which is just her in a mahou shoujo costume.

I wonder how this event works. Are they just streaming it off a computer or did they send the video archive to the website staff and they stream it with a special setup.
 
Nanako was cracking me up when she came in every 10 seconds on that countdown.

Wait....why are none of the P3/P4 MCs in class listening to Edogawa, looks like all generics?

I don't think any of them appear in the P4G TV Listings scenes, which is where these are taken from.

Man, won't they run out of character presenters for the countdowns at some point? I don't think there've been any repeats.

Ah okay.

Kinda weird that they keep running the same Edogawa lecture. I always recognize it by the triangle. What's that lecture about? I know it's shown up at least 4 times now.

It's got some neat parallels, yeah.

The put up a teaser at midnight which you can see was in the style of the midnight channel. So now we're all waiting for another tease at midnight JST, the same way the investigation team would.

There's not really all that much happening, but this is probably going to go down as one of the more interesting, memorable game reveals.

I'm pretty sure they're different lectures, perhaps with similar diagrams.

Perhaps. At least, I don't remember a countdown quite this involved except for maybe... that The World Ends With You tease.

Kinda hurts to remember the details, to be honest. In short, they hyped up a website via an image of an iconic set piece of the game (the 104 building in Shibuya) that became clearer on a daily basis and a crazy good remix of the game's music which started basic on the first day and became more and more fleshed out as the days progressed.

Details in this thread. It did not end well, and if this doesn't end well what happened there will be nothing compared to what happens here.

This countdown is much more produced in comparison, however.

Edit: I know Fuuka started the countdown once, so I guess there are indeed repeats.

I'm not sure, there was a pretty hefty monologue there so maybe they were hinting at something without me noticing, my Japanese is very basic.

I guess you've missed the previous 20 events. Every single event has been random trailers from P3/P4/P4A/P4A2, Edogawa lectures from P4G or Marie poems.

The only events that have been of note are:

Event 4: Depicting a seemingly custom scene with Dojima to highlight the date of November 21, 2013. Apparently, in that day in P4G, Dojima can't even be spoken to in-game.

Event 9: Midnight JST. The first substantial tease about something depicting images of real life cities most likely relating to the cities on p-ch.

Event 16: Apparently a custom scene of Ai and Narukami getting their horoscopes told.

Event 19: Not a custom scene, but specifically a P3P scene that occurred on November 22.
