P5 in a college setting
An impartial source on twitter sent me photographic evidence that Atlus and Xbone may have dealings. https://twitter.com/followarmada/status/403701312715382785
:lol wow armada.
oh thank christ. I don't mind it coming to Xbox, but the way Microsoft does things these days in place of having any actual talent, they might have tried to buy it exclusive. And there's no way I am ready to buy an XBO any time soon ($299.99 or bust!)
Another custom scene based on the November 22 date? This time from P3P?
Or perhaps this is actually what happened on November 22 in P3P.
Edit: Haha, nope, this is that scene. Interesting.
Persona 5 will take place at a girl's only high school dorm where the goofy protagonist somehow ends up being allowed to stay as he studies for his college entrance exams but because of shenanigans has to rescue his dormmates using the power of PERSONA! Can he pass his college entrance exams while wooing the girl of his dreams and at the same time not get kicked out of the dorm by the suspicious resident manager all while trying to save the world from Shadows? Also, magical girls.

Nanako was cracking me up when she came in every 10 seconds on that countdown.
Wait....why are none of the P3/P4 MCs in class listening to Edogawa, looks like all generics?
I don't think any of them appear in the P4G TV Listings scenes, which is where these are taken from.
Man, won't they run out of character presenters for the countdowns at some point? I don't think there've been any repeats.
They need to go big or go home. Persona 5 on PS4
Clever....so its like watching the midnight channel?
Ah okay.
Kinda weird that they keep running the same Edogawa lecture. I always recognize it by the triangle. What's that lecture about? I know it's shown up at least 4 times now.
There's not really all that much happening, but this is probably going to go down as one of the more interesting, memorable game reveals.
I feel you dude. If it releases some of your guilt, I'm right there with you.My hype levels are out of control. I can't concentrate on writing my paper.
It's got some neat parallels, yeah.
The put up a teaser at midnight which you can see was in the style of the midnight channel. So now we're all waiting for another tease at midnight JST, the same way the investigation team would.

Perhaps. At least, I don't remember a countdown quite this involved except for maybe... that The World Ends With You tease.
I don't remember the details of that... What did they do?
Kinda hurts to remember the details, to be honest. In short, they hyped up a website via an image of an iconic set piece of the game (the 104 building in Shibuya) that became clearer on a daily basis and a crazy good remix of the game's music which started basic on the first day and became more and more fleshed out as the days progressed.
Details in this thread. It did not end well, and if this doesn't end well what happened there will be nothing compared to what happens here.
This countdown is much more produced in comparison, however.
They just showed a Japanese P3 commercial, wut.
They just showed a Japanese P3 commercial, wut.
So... Basically they're just feeding a bunch of random persona vids that probably have no meaning whatsoever beyond the fact that they're persona?
These drip feeds. Every time I see 20 some odd minutes I think, "I can spare that."
I'm not sure, there was a pretty hefty monologue there so maybe they were hinting at something without me noticing, my Japanese is very basic.
