Live Killzone: Shadow Fall demo with Jimmy Fallon tomorrow

Fallon proves time and time again that he can't play games at all, lol, but at least he was better than the other guy.

The controller looks great.

So instead of seeing the intense ending of that demo, we get to see Jimmy Fallon and Anthony Anderson take extended looks with the floor and ceiling.

Well it looked a lot like the press conference demo until the controller got handed to the others... now we know for sure it was in real time :P

With invulnerability turned on, of course.

Not so fast! It could have been a pre-rendered trailer of bad gameplay to make it LOOK like Jimmy Fallon was playing.

We need more proof.

I like the first-person climbing idea, looks less scripted and a bit more Uncharted-esque, akin to the cover sliding in Killzone 3.

LOL, funny as hell watching Fallon try to play. Good stuff as usual. Anyway, so much for it being faked footage. The game looks amazing.

i'm going to assume that the aiming controls weren't inverted/were inverted and they were use to the other method :P

I'm use to inverted so whenever i stumble upon regular controls things get a little awkward...not that awkward but who knows!

Just watched it on TV and that was pretty cringe-worthy.

The game looked great and it's obviously running in real-time, but Jimmy Fallon shouldn't be allowed to touch a controller.

I thought it was just the recorded video....until Jimmy got his hands on the controller and sucked...

Lol Jimmy will make sure to suck ass in all games he plays. I remember when he played Gears 3 and got stuck in a never ending bug and CliffyB took the controller from him.

Anthony did worse than him though.

Game looked amazing though and I surely liked the controller seeing it on TV now.

Sony must not be pleased. 1/3 of the demo was spent staring at the ceiling cause these comedians don't know how to play a FPS. Awesome helicopter scene glossed over.

Hilarious though lol.

The PlayStation 4 devkit right? lol They didn't even show the damned thing. :P

Because the final design for the case hasn't been finalised will people STFU about not seeing a damn console that's not due to be released until the end of the year.

The case is a piece of plastic that should look stylish but reserved under your tv, Sony are good at that so who gives a flying FUCK what said plastic will look like?

JESUS.

*Rant over.*

Look, even if you haven't played Killzone Shadow Fall, if you are a gamer, I would assume you would know how to move around properly with dual analog in a FPS! So hilariously terrible, lol.

So.. All these people calling CG should pretty much just back off. Fallon and Anthony sucking just showed in real time to millions of people.

The game looked amazing in HD on my TV though.

I love how the solution to sucking is to "SHARE! SHARE!!! SHARREE!!!!"

He said that in reaction to the guy activating slow-mo and killing someone.

I almost thought it was video because he seemed hesitant to let jimmy play when he first asked.
Then he played.

The freak out probably excited people more than the standard walkthrough. Looked smooth.

Just caught it, Jimmy Fallon does indeed suck. The game does not look as good as GAFs hype made it out to be, but that might just be the 'Fallon Effect' (he somehow made the Oculus Rift seem like shit).

At least the DualShock 4 got showcased better than it did yesterday. Looked like hot sex.

Nobody with a brain was referring to yesterday's KZ SF footage as "CG". The only demo that's garnering some doubters as to its ability to be rendered capably by PS4 at launch is Capcom's Deep Down. I'm confident we'll get there after its on the market for a couple years, though.

I suppose Agni's Philosophy would also be suspect if anyone gave Square Enix credit for being able to develop a competent game with it.

lol no. people are interested in the size of the box and how noisy it might be. you don't think that cooling that machine with all that fast ram would be easy, did you?

Well people seem to be caring a lot , because it helps to tie ideas, promises and concepts they demonstrated to a tangible object we can actually desire to have for the next 9 months.

Makes it sound first person climbing has never been done before

I'm clueless, but what's a good example? Most of the time I see if in first-person shooters it's heavily script with button prompts (Killzone 2, for example). Someone reaches down for you, "Hit X to Climb!"

This seems to be a little more organic and as if you can do it whenever you approach an appropriate cliff/purchase, like an Uncharted or even the clambering they had in modern GTA games, but maybe I missed something in Far Cry 3 or whatever. It looks like a good addition to the franchise.

I REALLY hope Jimmy just misspoke when he said R1, because with the new triggers I'll be extremely disappointed if they keep L1/R1 as the primary buttons. On PS3 it made sense, but not with the dualshock 4.

Mirror's Edge, my friend!

This is the casual demographic, people.

Can someone .gif him pressing the buttons and holding the controller? It looked great.
