Publisher Live Wire announced a few weeks ago on November 1st that their Nintendo Switch releases of Espgaluda II and DoDonPachi Resurrection from 2021 will be delisted from the eShop on December 2nd. It isn’t specified if this relates to all regions but as Live Wire published the games in Europe and North America it seems likely that the games will disappear in those regions as well.

Live Wire Announcement – November 01, 2024 (Google Translated)

Here are the eShop links for anyone interested in scooping them up before December 2nd. The games also had physical releases both new and old if you’re looking to track down something tangible:

Espgaluda II
eShop (EU, JP, NA)
Retail (Play-Asia, Ebay, Amazon JP, some EU retailers)

DoDonPachi Resurrection
eShop (EU, JP, NA)
Retail (Play-Asia, Ebay, Amazon JP, some EU retailers)

Live Wire published games on Switch:

Mushihimesama - Release Date: 6/15/2021 - Delisting: 8/10/2024
Espgalude II - Release Date: 9/9/2021
DoDonPachi Resurrection - Release Date: 11/25/2021
Radiant Silvergun - Release Date: 9/13/2022

I'd be pretty concerned about Espgalude II and DoDonPachi Resurrection following suit.

I probably wouldn't worry about the Steam release for now as it has a different publisher (Komodo) and was released 11/12/2015.

Sadly, it looks like you were right to be concerned that these two Live Wire published titles might follow suit and get delisted next... :lollipop_pensive:

Delisting is unfortunate but due to the nature of these games and they communities they foster, I'm guessing the vast majority of people who have interest in them already own them.

DoDonPachi Resurrection on Steam is published by Komodo for those wondering.
