Just played Destiny on PS4 for like 3 hours, and had someone log me in for 3 hours before that while I was at work. PSN seems to be fine now. Did a full raid and 3 Atheons and some bounties.
 
I was FINALLY able to buy the games I wanted from the promo.
I just can't believe it was this hard and frustrating to buy something. It's 5 a.m. on a holiday and I'm trying my best to buy stuff online because I'm afraid attacks might begin later. Just ridiculous.

I finally hopped on PSN when it just came back up early today I guess. Played PvZ to take a break from TLoU. It's my first playthrough of that game. Playing on hard with listening mode off. Shit is intense, fun, and the campaign is damn rollercoaster lol.

I'm at the part where
you play as Ellie, fucking shit up all of the place and taking out dozens of enemies during the snowstorm after she escapes.
Couldn't stop playing today. I'm assuming that I'm 70-75% done with the game?
 
Super dumb technical question:

I used the MTU trick earlier to get PSN to work (manually changing the MTU to 1473). Should I switch that back to automatic once all this passes? Or does it not make a difference? I don't even know what MTU is.

Yeah you should change back, limiting your MTU to below the maximum supported by your connection will limit your speeds.

yeah. i'd say 80% done.

there's still a lot left to the game, though. that chapter is loooong and so are the next ones.

Maybe it is regional or something, but it has been working just fine for me, Friends List, Playstation Store, almost everything is connected and working here in Indianapolis.


Only thing not working is redeeming codes. I was trying to redeem the codes PlayStation sent me for the Festival Goodies LBP3 pack and the PS4 Christmas Theme and they wouldnt work.

God damn it, I wanted the 10,000th post! Too late lol. I intend to smash FF14 now that PSN is back online. Lost 3 damn days off my subscription with that shit :(

Also, I can't believe I even did a Twitter search but I found a bunch of lizard squad kiddies talking about doing another DDOS tomorrow so... Fingers crossed but at least I got on to GTA Online tonight for a while!
 
They just tweeted PSN is down. Any problems?

Edit: All good on my Vita. Thought there might be something to it because I was kicked off PS4 for some reason.
 
Got onto the Vita store fine 20mins ago and started to download Ys. Now I'm getting the annoyingly familiar can't connect to server message. UK here.

Edit: Downloading fine though.

Both I think, and from what I understand it's not hard to get stolen credit card info to pay for the botnets if you know the right places to look.

I'm not sure about any of this, I'm just regurgitating what others, who are much more learned on the subject, have been saying.
 
UK not working no PSN store or friends list can't play dragon age I'm connecting to the servers for the last 30 mins, strange who some are fine and other have nothing.

Same - Store is just a blank blue screen with a cancel button, friends never loads :(

SKY TV App won't load either?!
