yeah i know but the us already sends their B-Team to that event and other NBA players don't attend as well. if the NBA makes the Olympics U23 they basically kill international ball.

It's really more of an event for young players who are new to international competition: for example, the 2006 team had James and Howard, and the 2010 team had Durant and Rose. But yeah, I agree that the FIBA championship doesn't hold the same mystique for American players as the Olympics.

None. But the Women's Road Race and 400m Freestyle swimmig where we won gold in 2008 are underway and will be decided today. We're unlikely to defend the 400m freestyle from what I understand. Still, you never know.

If there's a certain match you want to see you might have to stray away from BBC. I don't know how to do it in reverse.

They are fixed cameras with no commentary on NBC sometimes. You do get to see something, but its not a fully narrated feed always.
