How did Addlington do?
Anyway, Olympics isn't even about amateur sports anymore. The only amateur sports at the olympics is boxing and wrestling. On all the other events, you don't even need to be amateur![]()
How many amateur golf players do you know?
Brazil is making a lot of stupid fouls. Australia is stronger than you give them credit for.Gah, Brazil is stomping Australia at the basketball.

for the folks asking for streams- why not just use the Youtube live streams? It has served me quite well for the past 2 days- pretty stable I think

Yup. The second half of this quarter has been terrible for us.
Anyone know where to watch Olympics streams in China?!
Link(s)?
Is there some reason why most of the players in football have to be under 23, but in basketball they seem to be allowed to have as many pros as they can fit into the team (at least I assume so, looking at Team USA).
That's http://www.nbcolympics.com .... Which is shit.
Sorry, just trying to help.
I have the awesome BBC coverage, and red button options (to watch everything I want live), so just did a search, and got that.
I'm not trying to be mean. People who dislike the NBC coverage are using BBC easily.
i think it's okay to limit football to under 23 since we already have the world cup and the uefa + similar events on other continents that are WAY more important to the players and where everyone shows up. an olympic gold medal is the most important international event in basketball a large part of that is because the US shows up. the NBA should not enforce the same u23 rule, that would be incredibly stupid in the long term and it would mean no international event with all the talent.
How to use BBC from US? I have the video player, but BBC 1, 2, 3, etc. aren't showing much... Thanks in advance!
There's the world basketball championship, but it's far less popular (at least in the US) than the Olympics.i think it's okay to limit football to under 23 since we already have the world cup and the uefa + similar events on other continents that are WAY more important to the players and where everyone shows up. an olympic gold medal is the most important international event in basketball a large part of that is because the US shows up. the NBA should not enforce the same u23 rule, that would be incredibly stupid in the long term and it would mean no international event with all the talent.

Oh dear, the visiting teams may get their hair wet.Man, the weather is really turning to shit.
Oh God the guy commentating the stream I'm watching is actually answering internet trolls instead of talking about the basketball match.
Unbelievable.
here ya go

The link suggested by Keyser above is from HBC. So people outside of the US wouldn't be able to watch it. The link i provided should be good for all tho
The BBC news are reporting on the empty seats issue. The cheaper seats are filled but the more expensive ones (more than likely gifted to sponsors) are empty.
How about they're given to people who actually want to see the events?

Ha! Apparently the woman in the red shirt during India's entrance at the opening ceremony wasn't part of the team and somehow snuck into the group.
