My suggestions:

Museum
Laserquest
Some kind of arcade? Might be a fun way to spend an hour or two


If we're doing a day and night then obviously food. I think Wagamamas is the official food of BritGAF, so maybe that?

NOT bowling. If we go bowling I'm going to need some shots to give myself an excuse for shitty performance.


As for the night out, Camden was a lot of fun, so I'd be happy to do that again, but also I hear Hackney is a good night out & I think we were also throwing Shorditch around as an idea last time, so maybe that's another way to go.

Authentic Bavarian bar, with a Brass Band. It's a bit like the Doritos Mariachi band, they cover classics in an Oompah style. It's actually amazing.

The food is great (and cheap too).

It's based in London Bridge, so easy enough to get to.

Plan B: Shoreditch.

Personally I'd rather not get too far out of the centre of town since I'll have to get the train home and the closer we are to waterloo, the later I can stay.

Somewhere that involves drinking and dancing gets my vote.

I like the look of the place, but absolutely no cider means I'll be exclusively on Jager and other shots.

Drinking and dancing for when the sun goes down is a must.
Would be nice if we can have somewhere to retreat to and wait for the early train with a few nightcaps, because I'd rather not leave before midnight this time.

Trocadero has laserquest and an arcade...... and is central.

I was thinking if I know exactly how many people are coming, and everyone is willing to stump up cash in advance, we could book a large room in a chinese restaurant for eating purposes (and if it has karaoke all the better :D)

I guess we could probably get firm numbers for the meal. Put me down as a solid yes & let me know as soon as you need any cash from me.



The mention of karaoke has me sweatin' already.

We non-beer drinkers aren't all lame. I get pretty rough headaches while drinking beer, so I tend to go for a delicious cider instead, but if we go to the awesome looking Bavarian bar, I'll just stick to nursing a beer or two & will pound the Jager.

Depends what you mean by local. Local as in London or local as in close to where we're going to be going out?

My friend usually parks his car at mine when he comes down to London. I live in Kentish Town and the parking is free there of a weekend.

It's actually free outside my flat in Clerkenwell too, at the weekend, but I couldn't promise there'd be any space - there isn't usually. On the odd occasion my dad has popped up, he's never been able to park "legally". He has a blue badge so he can dick about all he likes, however.

But parking is definitely easier at the weekend.

Yes, but for some reason I chose a character from quite possibly the most mediocre game to have been released over the last 12 months.

What time are you thinking of meeting up? The Bavarian place is amazing, but might not be great to stay for the whole night. Usually I just go there, have a stein or two (each stein contains 2 pints worth) and some food and then stumble off somewhere.

If you want to go for Karaoke, I went to this place recently and it was amazing:

I like the look of that Bavarian place, and the idea of having a stein is awesome, they are 1 litre right?

If you do go to the Bavarian place then i will have to get my self a Tankard of beer from the Beer House in Tallinn around the same time your out and pretend i'm sharing a drink with you all, i will be there in spirit.
