I am starting to think about going to study to England for medicine. It would be in about 2 years or so. And then I can join to awesome Brit-GAF!

Right guys and gals.

I've enquired about a booking for 20 people at the Bavarian place for 7pm on Saturday 9th March. Please let me know if you can all make it for then, or if you would like it earlier/later.

The Karaoke place prices are:- £98 per hour for a 14 people capacity room or £175 per hour for a 30 person capacity room.

I'm thinking that based on previous meet ups we know a few people tend to slink off early so I'm thinking the 14 person room? If we book a 2 hour slot, say from 9:30 - 11:30, it will be £14 each. They would want a deposit so I'd need the money from you up front to book it. If this is too expensive let me know and we'll think of something else to do.

I'm waiting for a cheque to clear but if you want to send your bank details to me I'll spin the cash over to you as soon as you know cost (and the cheque clears) - £14 each is fine by me.

I'll definitely make it to the Bavarian place, it really depends on how drunk I get for the Karaoke part...

Where are you travelling from?

You'll likely come in to Victoria or Paddington, you'll need to get yourself a day travel card, probably best to get Zones 1-2. You can get this from the underground station of whatever train station you come in to.

RIGHT.

With only 4 people saying they'll pay upfront there'll be no booking karaoke in advance, maybe we can find somewhere on the day like we did before.

SO.

The plan is:-

Meet at Trocadero at 2pm for those who want to meet up earlier in the day. Maybe we can get a game of laser quest in.

The Bavarian place have not come back to me regarding our booking, I have chased them up today and will let you know when it is confirmed. Assuming everything is ok, we will be meeting here at 7pm (or just before).

After that, we'll see where the night takes us, it's worked well enough for us before!

Sounds like a plan! I'll probably head down for the Bavarian spot, but if I get into London early, I'll try to hit you guys up at Trocadero.

Probably mentioned this in the last two BritGAF meet-up threads, but god-damn do I miss living so close to London.

A beer from my local costs $7.50 (5 GBP) here in Australia! And that's a schooner, not a pint!

As I mentioned over in BritGAF I can't make this one now cos of my dead nan. Yeah thanks nan... :p Instead I get two days in Hull around my alcoholic and grieving family. yay.

Not sure if I can make this now - put me as a maybe. Got a friend returning from Australia over the same weekend, and we are either going out Friday or Saturday.

If I am free, I will be coming.
