Indulge in Hi-Definition as it reaches new heights with Sony’s KP-51WS520 Hi-Scan® Projection Television. Featuring 16:9 Hi-Scan 1080i™ Display and Digital Reality Creation™ Multifunction circuitry, the KP-51WS520 produces beautiful picture resolution for your viewing enjoyment. The KP-51WS520 also features a HD MICROFOCUS™ CRT and Lens System, CineMotion® Reverse 3-2 Pulldown Technology and Flash Focus® Auto and Manual Convergence. Elevate your entertainment experience with the KP-51WS520.
• 16:9 Hi-Scan 1080i™ Display
• Twin-View™ Two Tuner Picture and Picture
• 3-D Digital Comb Filter
• Flash Focus® Auto and Manual Convergence
• HD MICROFOCUS™ CRT and Lens System incorporates smaller phosphor particles and a thinner phosphor layer than Sony's previous MICROFOCUS picture tubes, to achieve a 28% reduction in beam spot size. This translates directly into sharper focus, higher contrast and a brighter image, for a picture of stunning clarity.

• DRC™ Digital Reality Creation™ Multi-function Circuitry analyzes a 480i NTSC image and creates a digital bit mapped pattern in real time. The original NTSC signal is mapped in real time, replaced with an HD representative, and then discarded. Because DRC™ processes video signals in real time, it creates an image with 4X the density of the original signal. Resolution is increased both vertically and horizontally.

• CineMotion™ 3-2 Pulldown improves the display of video programs originally shot on 24 frames per second film preserving the integrity of the original film frames for more fluid motion and more fine detail.

• MID®-X Multi Image Driver Circuitry is specially designed for fixed pixel displays. It performs two major functions – scaling all incoming standard and high definition signals to the configuration of the panel without degrading signal quality, and providing unique Twin-View scalable picture-and-picture features once impossible for fixed pixel displays. Watch SD and HD on the same screen at the same time.

Oh I thought I put it in there, sorry.

$1699 at Circuit City.

Now I hate CC, but since BB didnt carry it, and I didnt want to pay some insane online shipping cost, I just used CC, and I got their card, so I got no interest financing for 18months, Plus I get a $100 gift card to use there, so I am gonna get the Monster DVI cables so that I can connect my new HD compatible cable box to the TV.

Why do you hate CC? They are superior to Best Buy in every way - Best Buy is like the Walmart of Electronics stores.

What bizarro city do you live in? I mean, how could anyone even argue that Circuit City is better than Best Buy? My mind is blown.

Best Buy = bigger locations, better atmosphere
Circuit City = better prices (although BB 110% pricematching makes the feature moot)

They're both good to me. Nice TV BTW. :)

In my area Best Buy is a disgusting mad house of irritating people much in the same way that Walmart is. It has unfriendly/unknowledgeable staff. On the other hand Circuit City generally has better prices, far fewer people, a more knowledgeable and friendly staff and their TV section rocks Best Buy.
