Anyone here use Thrillist? I browse but I don't really to any of the events but that is mainly because my friends don't want to go.
Hit me up via PM if there's an event you want to go to. For serious.

Same post an event here is something looks cool and see if there's interest. I don't check Thrillist often so don't always see what's going on.
Nice thread title. I wonder how the Greatest city in the world thread feels about it.
Muahaha.
Oh, I tried In-n-Out fries animal style this past weekend. I can't say it made them any better. I still think there are better fries to be found. Asking them well cooked was a plus though. My primary complaint previously was that they didn't taste cooked enough.
LA has a lot of great gaffers.
Another great thing about LA for the time being... no NFL team!
So here's to the Patriots losing again
*superbowl beer cheers*
*starts the wave*
You can't, and nobody walks in LA. San Fran is a city where you can.

damn staight it does. its amazing how many haters we have though.
Any of you guys been to Pins and Needles in Echo Park? Apparently they have like 30 classic pinball machines. It's a BYOB place but it sounds neat.
Hi from Bev Hills adjacent.
Also, best pizza = Hollywood Pies. Incredible.
What are your recommendations for good Mexican food? I've yet to find a place that is delicious and not just trendy.
I tried that place a few days ago. We didn't know that we had to order by phone first so we spent an hour waiting in the car for the drop off.

Ive always had delivery. Did you like it?
Since I consider myself a ramen aficionado here is my top 5:
1. Tsujita LA - best ramen, best tsukemen, best everything trust me.
2. Ramen Yamadaya - I've only tried the Costa Mesa location but it's bomb and the original Torrance one should be too.
3. Ramen Jinya - locations in Studio City and soon in West LA on Sawtelle by the 405. (chicken ramen is amazing but they got fatty rich pork tonkotsu style too)
4. Fujin Ramen - best option in the San Gabriel Valley, made by a master chef
5. Asa Ramen - in Torrance, amazing roasted pork bone flavor but only open at night so that sucks
Honorable mention: Foo Foo Tei, amazing variety and they do it all an do it great but they lack focus on one ramen to make it spectacular.
Now its time for Hater-ade: Daikokuya is pretty shitty nowadays so just avoid please, not worth the wait at the Little Tokyo location it's all hype. Trust me.
Have you tried Wat Dong Moon Lek Noodle in Silver Lake? I've been there once and the pho I had was so tasty. I had Thom Kha soup with udon noodles, spiciness 7/10. So good!
No Santouka? For shame!
Good selection there though.

B-Ri, I'm pretty sure we live really close to each other. And I love walking around LA, but there are definitely some places that are more walkable than others.
Anyone up for the LA Art Walk while Evilore is still here...if he's still here on Thursday and he's willing to go. I asked in the Feb 4th thread but I only got a tentative yes from a few folks.
