Which I still contend is the worst ending ever.

How would you end it?

The epilogue idea is very predictable, but I don't mind it. The same way that Jack become Jackobe is very predictable, I was pleased with that, despite it being a very safe choice. I'm not saying the epilogue would be my choice, but it is my guess.

I think the ending is going to be "everything blows up and the X timeline takes over" and I'm not sure if I'd like to see that or not.

The reason I like the idea is then we get to know what happened to the characters post Lost. In quite a bit of detail. If it's not that way, and the sideways was concurrent with 'our' Lost, if they wrap up everything about the current situation in an hour (which they won't by any stretch) that'd only leave a little more than an hour of epilogue. I can't imagine them ending the show without telling us what happened after the events of Lost.

Yeah I've considered this. I usually just chime in during commercials without reading much of what's been posted. Helps pass the time during breaks.

I'm both highly anticipating and dreading the finale.
Only 34.5 hours from now, Lost is over. Forever.

They don't have to of course. I don't care personally. I still think they would want to. As much as I enjoy the characters, for me it's always been the mystery, that's pretty much gone at this point, but I'm not going to stop watching so close to the end of course. Darlton always seemed very focused on the characters being what mattered, not the mystery. And they've mentioned more than once that people wanted an "after-Lost", and that's why they did flashforwards. Well they have been rendered pretty useless, as flashforwards are not the end of Lost anymore. If they still intend to tell people what happened to the characters after the show, Bizaro-Epilogue is one manner they could have done it.

, LA X began in what looked like that situation. It could be that in the LA X world Smokey had already escaped the island, that being the case nothing bad happens when he leaves. That would be my preference for the ending, have Jacob just being a fucking dick the whole time. But that's what I'd do, not what I think Darlton will do.

I tried to. But thanks to some random events this year, 3 of my Lost-watching friends now hate me. Then one friend says he'll be too busy smoking weed to watch, and another says he'd rather work through the finale and go to some concert for a band he's never heard of later in the week.

So awesome.

There is gonna be an awesome event in Madrid and Barcelona for the finale on the cinema.

First the episode 16 will air on HD with subtitles, and then at 6:30AM the final episode will be show, at the same time as the US.

They have really go bananas over this. HD on a fucking cinema, from 5:00AM to 9:00AM and then breakfast for all, payed by the organizer of the event (The channel who airs Lost in here)

It's a fucking shame I won't be able to go, fucking work shit.
