I'm just saying.. When was that discovered one day after it aired. When was it confirmed a mistake. I'm just sayin they should have said it was the smoke monster. But they were probably asked what it was before they even decided the monster was a smoke monster...You know for further proof they weren't making shit on the fly. :P:lol :lol

It's not smoke though. It's a semi-transparent black rectangle. It was probably part of the creation of the graphics for the plane exploding, and it was left in on accident.

Seems so perfect though. Can't believe I've never noticed that. I've watched that episode so many times.

They never fixed the opeing title shot after 6 seasons. I imagine they think this may not be worth it. I only see it because of the postings of it.

I don't know. I kinda get the feeling that Lindelcuse would rather have their product out there as is, flaws and all. Like it would be cheap to comb over their mistakes rather than own them or something.

After all, that is one of the major themes of the show--accepting your flaws and letting go rather than obsessing over them.

Though in an ironic turn, if I had taken that advice and just moved on from the finale without really reflecting on it, I would have not appreciated it as much as I do now. The more and more I analyze the finale, I realize just how much more fitting to the rest of the show I think it is.

Every TV and film production in existence has mistakes. Deal with it. If you want to ruin your favorite movie, check out its Goofs page on IMDB, you'll find a long list of things you never noticed before that will never be able to unsee again.

Wait people are saying that's a mistake? That's clearly meant to be there. It's timing is perfect and the motion path, no way that's a mistake.
 
Just finished watching the series finale...or "The End". Initially, I wanted to get it over with. I wasn't expecting much. By the time I reached the end, I couldn't believe that...it was 'The End'. Though by no means perfect, I honestly enjoyed it...I didn't want it to end.

It definitely is a mistake. It's been confirmed. It's timing is perfect because it's a CG mistake directly related to the rendering of the engine explosion.

It's weird. Cusick was listed as a guest start in the press releases, but Lindelcuse had him as a main cast member in the show.

It's just odd, he should've been able to submit as a supporting actor.
