Oh shit, I just realized, Jack never found out that JL didn't commit suicide, did he?

Good catch.. however, John was going to kill himself anyway.. and even though he was murdered instead, he still achieved his desired result.

The show treated the murder of John by Ben as a personal matter between the two primaries and no one else... which was resolved in the sideways flashes.

Similarly, no one but Ben* knew that Locke was paralyzed before coming to the island.

*and Richard and the rest of the Others, I guess :lol

Matthew Fox better get the Emmy.

I'd be very happy with a nomination. The lead actor race is very crowded, he won't win, but he could squeeze out a nomination with his work in The End.

It's unlikely, though.

Yeah, I'd consider a Fox nomination a nice little victory. AMC shows are emmy voter darlings. And rightfully so.

“It will address some of the issues, like the food drops, and it will deal with what happened on the island after Hurley took over and how he handled things. It will give you a taste of what took place after Hurley took over as the new number one. There’s a little epilogue thing going on with the DVD.”

Inside sources also told me that Walt (Malcolm David Kelley) will be shown in the bonus material. “We’ll find out what happens to Walt,” says the insider. But when asked who else he worked with, Jorge replied coyly: “There are other people in it, but I’m not going to tell you who

You know, I always expected the show to end with a cliffhanger or a mindfuck. And my friend kept wondering about how they could end it, he used to sarcastically say "Is it gonna be a happy ending with all the cast dancing and cheering?", and I always replied "No fucking way."

Well, it pretty much ended exactly the way we both dreaded. No cliffhanger, twist or mindfuck.... but a corny happy ending instead.

Now I'm not saying they did it wrong, because obviously most people loved the bow-tie ending. I'm just pointing out my selfish, and failed, expectations.

Well they did end it on a mindfuck, some people still don't know what happened :lol .

Sorta bittersweet too, Jack's at once sad and uplifting :(.

Michael Emerson said:
“For those people that want to pony up and buy the complete Lost series, there is a bonus feature, which is…you could call it an epilogue,” explained Emerson.
What the hell, wasn't it supposed to be included in the normal season 6 set as well?

Corny happy? I bawled. :(

I am 99% sure I know who at least one other person is in that scene.

Wait - should we talk about this in the spoiler thread? :lol

Is it confirmed to be only in the mega set or also in the s6 set? It would be very lame if those of us who bought up the rest got screwed :(

EDIT: wow I feel really stupid, I even read the posts a few up and STILL failed :lol

Ben confessed and so he could have heard when he went join the rest of the Losties.

I was hoping that you'd heard, that maybe you'd go to the funeral....

I've been flying a lot.

The golden pass that they gave us I've been using it.

Every Friday night I fly from L.A. to Tokyo or Singapore or...Sydney

Then I get off and I have a drive, and then I....fly home.

Because I want it to crash, Kate.

I don't care about anybody else on board.

Every little bump we hit, or turbulence. I actually close my eyes and I pray that I can get back.

No, I'm sick of lying.

We made a mistake.

We.....were not supposed to leave.

WE HAVE TO GO BACK KATE...

WE HAVE TO GO BACK..

Yes, it is in the regular set too.

But there are some special features exclusive to the complete set, right? Which bothers me.

One of my favorite scenes of the entire show. Now that was a mindfuck ending :D

This is pretty cool, EW just put up it's season finale awards (I'll just post the LOST ones to avoid spoilers for other shows):

BEST OVERALL ENDING TO AN OTHERWISE CRAPPY SEASON
Grey's Anatomy
2. House
3. 24
4. Gossip Girl
5. The Office

BEST DEATH
Jack, Lost
''All the way, has to be Jack. The ending scene with him and Vincent brings tears to my eyes just writing it. Nothing can top that.'' —Gwen
Voters agreed. Jack won by 471 votes, the largest margin of any category.
2. John, The Vampire Diaries
3. Charles, Grey's Anatomy
4. TIE: Smokey/Flocke, Lost; Reed, Grey's Anatomy

MOST WELCOME EXIT FOR AN UNLOVED CHARACTER
Reed, Grey's Anatomy
Another landslide, this time by 112 votes.
2. Charles, Grey's Anatomy
3. Shaw, Chuck
4. Zoe, Lost
5. Jenny Humphrey, Gossip Girl

WORST OVERALL ENDING TO AN OTHERWISE SOLID SEASON
Bones
''I liked the season, but everyone was saying the finale would be as epic as the 100th episode, and it SO wasn't.'' —Becca
2. The Office
3. Private Practice
4. Lost
5. Tie: Survivor and Community

BEST KISS
Jack and Kate, Lost
Though the Sawyer-and-Juliet delegation was passionate, Jack and Kate took the title by 78 votes.
2. Sawyer and Juliet, Lost
3. House and Cuddy, House
4. ''Elena'' and Damon, The Vampire Diaries
5. Peter and Olivia, Fringe

BEST FIGHT
Jack and Flocke, Lost
The second-largest margin of victory, by 257 votes.
2. Olivia and Fauxlivia, Fringe
3. Chuck and Shaw, Chuck
4. Clark and Zod, Smallville
5. Lucifer/Sam and Dean, Supernatural

TOP TISSUE MOMENT
Jack's death, with Vincent lying beside him
The dog put Jack's passing over the top — by 12 votes.
2. The entire finale, Lost
3. Charlie and Claire's reunion, Lost
4. Jack and friends ''move on,'' Lost
5. Sawyer and Juliet's reunion, Lost

[:lol ]

SINGLE MOST CLEVER TWIST
The Sideways world is purgatory, the Island is real, Lost
''After being relentlessly told the Island wasn't purgatory, the Sideways world is purgatory. Damn you, Darlton.'' —Frank
Not everyone appreciated the fake-out, as you'll see in the next slide...
2. Katherine/Elena switch, The Vampire Diaries
3. Alternate Olivia is taken to our universe, Fringe
4. Chuck's mother is alive, Chuck
5. Hurley and Ben become No. 1 and No. 2 guardians of the Island, Lost

SINGLE WEAKEST TWIST
TIE: One-year sabbatical, Bones; Robert's death in the Walker caravan car accident, Brothers & Sisters
One had too little buildup; one had too much (we knew Rob Lowe was leaving the show for months). The latter is also what landed Fringe's ''best nonromantic cliff-hanger'' on both the best- and worst-twist lists: ''Awesome for upcoming story lines, but I saw it coming.'' —Kyle
3. Olivia trapped in the alternate universe, Fringe
4. Sideways world is purgatory, Lost
5. ''Any of them,'' Desperate Housewives

MOST REWOUND MOMENT
Last 10-15 minutes of Lost
2. Entire Lost finale
3. ''Elena'' and Damon's kiss, The Vampire Diaries
4. Jack's death, Lost
5. Entire Grey's Anatomy finale

BIGGEST REGRET THAT I DIDN'T SEE THE FINALE, I JUST READ ABOUT IT
Grey's Anatomy
Good news: Watch the two-hour event on Hulu.
2. Lost
3. Fringe
4. 24
5. House

[I'll agree with this. The GA finale got alot of buzz after it aired, probably because it was a surprise that the show could put that out :lol ]

For some reason when I read this initially, just the way it looked... I read it like someone was rapping it. Now I can't stop hearing it.

Yeah, it's like the same shows over and over :lol . But I guess thats what most EW readers watch.

I love how LOST totally swept TOP TISSUE MOMENT :lol

Jack Shephard aka Jackin Fools.

The Oxy's help him come correct with the flow...yo

EW is great. They can bend logic unlike any other. Lost was #1 in their most clever twist category, but it was also ranked in the weakest twist category.

... :lol

speaking of one of the tissue moments, or a few minutes after one of them - does anyone else find it humorous how sun and jin are smirking at sawyer when he introduces himself (especially when he says he is a detective)
