I didn't know Lost was going to be at Comic Com (albeit seemingly in a smaller fashion without Darlton (probably)).

Sat. 6:00-7:00: Lost But Not Forgotten — Lost Encyclopedia authors Tara Bennett and Paul Terry, along with other special Lost guests, discuss this seminal show's legacy, their thoughts on the finale, and the creation of the forthcoming Lost Encyclopedia.

You know, I always see people hankering for a chronological version of the show to be released, but I think that'd be like the worst thing ever.

Might as well watch the episode acts backwards, really.
 
Season 5 was the only real low-point for Giacchino's LOST work(and even it provided a couple of classics)

I can't say one way or another if S6 has the best music in the series, but it's definitely an argument.

Yeah and let's not forget all the new themes: Ricardo's theme, LA X theme, Temple Theme, etc.

I'll wait for the official release (please be it 2-CD), but the season 6 score may very well top the season 1 score (which is my favourite).
 
So glad "There's No Place Like Home" became such an essential theme in the show's DNA, considering it was introduced relatively late in the game. First time you heard that track, you knew it was something special.

Hard to conjure up thoughts of LOST without that song springing to mind.

Heh. I've even found myself wishing for more things to be OUT of order now.

I've recently been reading Lucifer's Hammer. Book is looong, and takes its time getting anywhere as it seems to tell the events of a day (or part of a day) from one character's perspective, then another, then another, then another, then another. I keep thinking that if it was Lost we could get on with things, then come back for another view of these events as needed.

I initially thought it was a cool idea (a few seasons back when people started talking about doing it), but now I agree that it's a stupid idea. Especially the way it's being done by the guy from the link above; putting the time-travel sequences in strict chronological order too! What the hell is the point of watching the Locke/Christian scene at the donkey wheel right after Across the Sea? Boggles my mind. If it were to be done I'd rather have the time travel scenes placed in respect to when the losties experienced them ("This is our present"--Miles to Hurely in 1977).

First time I heard that track, I cried like a baby. And pretty much did the same every time it played again in the show :lol

I guess this is a good time to confess that pretty much from Season 4 onwards, I got hight right before watching every new episode of LOST. It definitely enhanced my enjoyment of the show and also multiplied the effect of all emotional scenes. I wouldn't have cried as much had I been sober.

I usually smoke up once or twice a week, so I used to save it up especially for LOST and have a blast. Who else did that? I'm sure Stridone did, I saw you in the Marijuana thread :D

That was such a strange moment for the show. We already knew they returned home safely from the Island. A season worth of flashforwards had filled in most of the gaps, yet actually seeing the O6's plane touching ground and the reunion with their families, TNPLH swelling in the background, was one of the LOST's most emotional(and best) scenes.

You know, the cast hugging it out to soul-crushing music got to me every time, all the way up to The End.
 
What do you guys want the epilogue to cover?

For instance:

Do you want to know where Jack's body is buried?
An update on our Losties who got off the Island/reaction to Jack's death?
Rose and Bernie info?
etc etc etc

Basically specific character fates or ONLY an answerthon?

Hey, I saw this recently, as I watched the whole series for the first time, start to finish, in about two months time.

I was very pleased with how it wrapped up pretty much everything I cared about. There weren't any lingering questions I had where I was like "Well I'm pissed because I don't know about X".
 
It's funny. I liked the ending at the time of the finale and wanted more answers but now that it's been awhile, I don't even need an epilogue. I'm fine with everything we know looking back.

Only thing I would care about is Walt and that stupid bird.
 
It's pretty much going to be an answerthon to make the people who would have (and did) bitch about the finale happy. I'm perfectly okay with having this to supplement the wonderful ending to the show.
 
If they don't address something in the epilogue, it would be interesting to see if they add anything extra into the encyclopedia.

I want Hurley to pay an unsuspecting visit (Jacob style) to at least one of the Junior Losties when they get older, especially Aaron or Ji-Yeon.

I don't give a rat's ass about answers, nor am I expecting much of anything, and this is primarily because everything important was answered in the series and I don't give a fuck what they do or do not answer in the epilogue or book. I was simply bringing up the point that it'll be interesting to see how they handle some things in the epilogue and Encyclopedia.
