You know why I feel weird about Dusk, though? Why vote Karkador if Dusk were scum? The only other person that suspects Kark is like...well, me. Why not just go for the easy lynch and vote me and Flux? The wind is blowing that way, anyway, there's no reason as mafia to stick your neck out with an against-the-grain vote like that.

He seems misguided, not necessarily scum.

I think Karu & Dusk Soldier is a mistake, and I'd rather see us lynched than a player who is potentially actually a Power Role.

There's too much focus from players here on "players who are blatantly acting anti-town/scummy/suspicious are scum." That's almost never the case; mafia aren't stupid. It's weird saying that because that was Blawl's modus operandi in this game, but that very likely helped as an additional smoke screen for the more subdued, "normal" scum players that the rest probably are.

You won't get anywhere if all you're aiming for are the teams that are highlighted in yellow.

Other than finding out if you are scum or not? I have no idea. Maybe an idea as to why flux did the gambit he did?

I don't know what to think on a timeflux vote, but Karu and dusk soldier have been crazy in their posting, and they never responded to my asking what they wanted from karkador and myself (post # 3270). It's why I'm keeping my vote on them. It's really really shady.

I'm more or less just curious if you're aware of any reason for his lack of posts here that the rest of us aren't.


In regards to the voting conversation:

I don't really think there's strong evidence towards either Kask or Fluxaisis being scum, at least not more than the other. I do think there's been a lot more interaction from everybody with Fluxaisis. I'm going to vote them since I think we gain more from that flip.

Alright,I'm back. Sorry about being inactive, some of it was school,but most of it was laziness. This is because batsnacks is such an active poster, and I usually agree with what he says. That being said I know that if I want to continue participating, I will need to step in my posting game.

As for who to lynch, I am going to go with my gut.

Had me worried for a second there.

So one or two from lynching timeflux. If we want to turbo. I'm torn on voting for them. I want to because I want answers (that likely will not come) and a flip may contain answers. But I also don't like leaving Karu and dusk soldier off the hook.

alright so i can actually make the deadline

some thoughts:

as I said earlier, don't agree with the growing flux votes. If flux flips scum, that means 2 scum pair (out of a probable max of 4) did gutsy role claims within the first 10 mins of Day 1? I don't know about that. And of course, if flux is scum, why claim as name cop instead of an alignment cop when klarg said they were millers. I don't feel right about voting for them at the moment.

Dusk...he made an earlier mistake confusing "miller" and "masons" when it came to Klarg that made me think it was a genuine mistake (and not a scum trying to look like newbie townie). And then he tries for a vote on Kark, which I think from a scum perspective is kinda boneheaded. Seems very unnecessary to go for such an unlikely Day 3 candidate, and possibly face strong backlash.

I feel some pairs have been overlooked this phase.
Kingkitty and Hyperactivity
I originally town read them last night from post #1914, but started doubting it when my main read was completely wrong. Looking back at D2 they were really inactive apart from a late vote on Blarg by Kitty. In that aforementioned late vote Kitty seems very detached from what is going on. They have one of the most spotless voting records from D2 with both voting for Blawl and sticking with it.
One thing that may clear them a bit is that Blarg voted for them D1.

Kyanrute and Retroid
Both felt very distant on D2 and in my original night read I found nothing particularly townie about it. I was heavily tunneled on them being in a scum team with Cabinter though...
Today they've been more active, but it kinda looks like damage control to me.

Magnum and batsnacks
Nothing particularly scummy apart from possibly knowing Blarg was X shot and Cabinter was town. Really it's just the inactivity on D2 as if they were scum heading back into the shadows as town made themselves suspicious.

Yeah... I don't know about your alignment kingkitty, but I agree with you there. Regardless of me (I don't think my team are objectively good targets at all because it'd be a high level "double mafia early role claim gambit"), but I don't think Dusk/Karu are good either.

You really think scum would go after the presumed Townie with the most influence over the players? What kind of play do you guys actually think that would be? Again, mafia aren't going to go around painting targets on their backs. You only lynch Town that way.

The loss of Splinter has hurt us badly. I guess cabot was okay as well.

Well, that's the team you are, and the team you will continue to be while everyone blindly accepts your status as Tracker and anyone who challenges that notion becomes suspect.

One thing at a time. I don't think anyone is blindly following your lead. For right, I find it easier to take you being town as an assumption to proceed on. If we should have to adjust course, we'll do so.

Yeah having even a sorta confirmed townie is practically a death sentence for a night kill

I've already posted my suspicions of Launch and Gorlak. They just didn't seem to have town's interest at the end of D2 with the flip flopping, turboing is a good way of making sure scum won't be stuck on the wrong vote and they went from going all out on Blarg during D2 to defending him and thinking both trackers were town.

Coppa and Flame have votes that don't line up with scum down to Flame voting Blarg in D1, but they've still been scummy in my eyes and shouldn't get a pass.

Tl21xx and Camjo are two I wish I had read more. On the surface they read like town, but it was probably a wise idea for scum to take the moral high road D2 and I didn't see a huge desire to steer town the right way if they were so sure Blarg was scum.

These are completely from memory.

Dusk almost got killed/maybe will be killed by opposing you. Eh. ;-)

Other than that... don't feel well versed enough in the matter to vote for flux (shouldn't have left him out of my current read-list). Worked on Coppa/Flame, but it's mostly wishy-washy stuff. The gist is basically they are on my radar, on my priority list.

I was one of the first to advocate for a Blarg lynch. I just utterly despised Splintbot. It's the only reason I removed my vote from Blarg.

To be honest with you guys, I'm tired of this game. It's been nothing but an uphill climb for me the entire game and it hasn't been very fun. I don't think anything I could have said at any point would've changed your mind about lynching Flux and I, and that really sucks.

So flip us and move on.

Adding to this, part of my worry with you is how certain you were in those posts. In the first you didn't take into account that Blawl could be worried Timeflux were veterans or how town weren't in consensus about what they should do N1. I just feel a townie would be more doubting.
