low keys most WANTED switch 2 game??

I'm looking forward to Kibry Riders but I definitely WANT Kid Icarus Uprising on Switch 2.

And with mouse controller its no brainer.

At the moment the only three games I want for it are

Metroid Prime 4
Mario Kart World
Hyrule Warriors Imprisonment War.

Donkey Kong Banazaza is a maybe

Although I'm waiting for more games to come before buying it specifically the next AAA Zelda game with a brand new story and art style if possible. Also helps that by then the next Mario Party would also be out which is another good plus.

Metroid Prime, I guess. Of what is known. Donkey Kong looks remarkably good from what little I've seen, though. Otherwise nothing comes to mind aside from unannounced titles, such as a new 3D Mario, new Zelda, properties like that.

Mario Kart and Donkey Kong for sure. I will get Metroid and Pokemon as well, but those are Switch 1 games. If I hadn't already played them in 4K60, BOTW and TOTK upgrades would be very high up on my list too.
 
I'm interested in Kirby Air Riders having never played the original. I hope it gets delayed into late 2026. I think releasing it so close to Mario Kart is a disservice.

I think I've sunset many of Nintendo IP these days and only a certain number if titles do I actually care about

Top down Zeldas (we need more of em, if they are just going to copy Ubisoft with the 3D entries, give us fans the old school top down shit)

Star Fox titles (keep him in the fucking ship please, let him fly straight with the occasional all range mode, not asking him to ride a fucking dinosaur, not asking for a series of party games, not asking for him to be in a racing game, make the fucking game like 64 and call it a day, I can't stress this shit enough)

Animal Crossing (let them motha fuckas BE CROSSING so I can pay down that mortgage wit them bells with Nook's bitch ass high interest )

Luigi's Mansion (let that man in that fucking mansion with E-Gadds repressed sexual tension ass)

Kirby (let that might just move run and suck shit up and become shit, thats it)

Xeno - series (let me ride around in dem mechs, I'm not asking for much)

The random Mario RPG (Paper or otherwise)

Really, thats about it, I no longer care about Mario Kart, Smash Bros has been neutered to death post Melee, Metroid, DK, any of the 3D Mario games, any of the 3D Zeldas, Splatoons, Pokemon etc.
 
Well, third party probably none because I have PC for that, but Nintendo game? 3D Mario and that's why I'm salty about DKB, I don't like that game visually, like at all and it will make me wait for a 3D Mario even more time, damn it.

Other than that, upgrades for games I want to play and whatever Monolith has been cooking.
 
Not really low key, but definitely Donkey Kong Bananza. It's like a weird mix of Hulk Ultimate Destruction and Red faction and makes perfect sense for Donkey Kong.

A new Xenoblade game, whatever Fire Emblem game that's being remade (heard it might be 4) and Front Mission 3 (timed exclusive I think).

....and the fabled Final Fantay Tactics remake, but that'll most certainly not be an exclusive.

Someone else mentioned it reminded them a lot of the Wario game on the GameCube, and it really struck a chord with me.

Of all Nintendo's dead franchises, I think Pilotwings is the one that I most want to return on the Switch 2. Not only would it be a great showcase for mouse controls, but it'd be the perfect game to show off what the system is capable of graphically, since there doesn't have to be a bunch of complex physics interactions or a ton of enemies or objects on screen at once. The full weight of the hardware could be devoted to cultivating an aesthetic and a vibe.

Nah, Mario Kart World looks crazy good to me, and I already prefer most past Mario Kart games to the original Kirby AirRide.

Still looking forward to seeing more though. Sakurai make great games. A modern version of City Trial could be something special.

I hope they've added some gameplay variety and complexity to this. Daemon X Machina looked great, controlled fluidly, and had a ton of cool mech customization options, but it was also pretty shallow and repetitive. It felt more like a vertical slice or proof of concept than a finished game.
 
I LOVE platformers. So Donkey Kong is a no brainer for me. Metroid Prime 4 is my most anticipated game along with Donkey Kong at the moment. Both on Switch 2 so I'm eating well this year!
 
I want all the games we know are coming this year. Like really want them. Including the kirby update and Mario party jamboree.

So that's like 6 big wants for the first 6 months. More than any other console I can think of in recent memory.
 
Metroid Prime 4 is my most awaited game.
Might pick the Kirby game at 60fps with the new content.
Maybe I will give TotK another try at 60fps.
