Started watching it for its comedy, stay for the trilogy episodes in later seasons, marvel at how awesome Scorpious is as an antagonist and his character arc.

I don't think any show has done anything similar that they did with Scorpious to the extremes he went. I always felt if Cricton had lost a few of Moya's crew on the way he would turn into something similar. I think thats why Cricton always feared him in the final season on top of the history they had.

Well I finished the Peacekeeper Wars and thus the entire series, overall impression is "meh." It's an alright, brain dead, pulpy sci-fi adventure but man was I let down after all that hype. D'argo dying was predictable and I kept rolling my eyes at every scene between him and his son wondering "when is this guy gonna just die already." I also thought the ending was just strange, so we get peace at the barrel of a wormhole gun and psychic manipulation? That just sounds super untenable, like Critchton doesn't have the wormhole knowledge anymore and at any moment those sides could start warring again especially if there aren't psychic mystics constantly keeping them in check.

And why do we care about either side winning or losing? Peacekeepers are Space Nazis and Scaarans are just violent space monsters, even with this peace the other races are shit up the river as they are still either controlled by the two factions. Oh well, at the end of the day Aeryn and Crichton got married and had a baby, I'll settle with that sappy shit since I'm a sappy kinda guy.
