I didn't get the Switch at launch since most game need were ports/remasters from WiiU which i played to death. So i decided to not get one until a Zelda edition was made.
I waited long, and got the Oled ToTK edition when it came out.
I played ToTK finishing main story and relevant quests, illuminating all depths area etc, played for 100h or so.
then stopped and just recently this year started some backlog on it.
And here my rant, (just want to vent):
- Damn this thing is uncomfortable, heavy and barely grips in handheld mode.
- the joycons are tiny!! joysticks are like little toy knobs that feel they will break at any moment.
- hd rumble feels like random vibrations (i know depends on implementation)
But the most annoying thing atm is...
No damn headphone jack in dock mode, you need either a long cable extension or a Bluetooth, and Bluetooth has lag!
How was this so damn popular? even as a handheld you would need a grip to play comfortably.
I don't get it. I loved the gb, gba, ds, 3d, but hear me out, the games made for those were designed to be portable. The switch is a home console made portable so most games are not designed per se to be played on the go, (small texts, tight action gameplay etc)
Switch 2 kind of adresses some of the issues, at least.
End of rant, thanks for reading, xoxo
