LTTP: Tomb Raider 2013- Some dubstep would go really well with this game

NO SPOILERS PLEASE :c
So Sony had that "Best of E3 2012" sale. I got Tomb Raider 2013 with some DLC and Quantum Conundrum apparently.

This game is really fun, like all the explosions and shit wrecking up as you climb and run and fall is really cool and
would go well with some wubwubwub

Now, I really like the Camp stuff, all the upgrades you're able to get, finding parts to make better weapons and finding all the salvage is just really addictive.

As for the story, it's nothing amazing but it's not horrible, it's just okay. I like who Lara is in this game and how fucking brutal she can be at some points. I also really like Sam along with Roth, the rest of the crew is complete shit.

Overall a darn good game, Crystal Dynamics did a good job but it's a shame that I can't Platinum it because of the fucking Trophies that require you play Multiplayer.

Really surprised by how much I enjoyed this game.

I was worried it would be like Uncharted, but it was a lot more open that that. I liked getting upgrades that opened up areas (even though the collectibles were kinda lame). Gameplay felt great too; I used the bow for pretty much everything. There was definitely a lot of shooting parts (more than was needed, IMO), but they didn't feel nearly as bad as in Uncharted to me.

It had it's share of "cinematic" gameplay moments (sliding, falling, etc), but the open areas you get to that let you explore a bit made it not as annoying as it can be in other games that use it way too much.

Overall it's just really fun game. Even better because I got it for free! (well $15, but I used GMG credit I had from Bioshock Infinite Preorder)

For a sequel I DEFINITELY want larger and more complicated puzzles/tombs. With an increased number of that and a slightly decreased amount of combat this would be pretty much perfect.

Tomb Raider was pretty fun. It wasn't mindblowingly good, and the characters and story were awful, but overall it was a good time that could use a few more puzzles instead of shooting.

I agree. Give me better skills (none of that one-shot stuff on the top level), better collectables that actually get me something in return (unlockable stuff!), and a few Zelda-like dungeons and I will praise the sun god forever.

Man, I agree with you. So far, this is my GOTY. Bioshock Infinite has disappointed me so far, so much so that I just stooped playing it. However, with Tomb Raider I had no idea what to expect which made the experience so much better. I've bought the game three times now (once on the PC, disc for PS3 and now digital on PS3). I can't get enough of the gameplay and story. I really hope we get a next-gen sequel.

I thought it was pretty great as well. Some of the vistas were stunning and I really, REALLY enjoyed the environments.
