This whole case is weird.

If they knew each other and he knew where they lived why would they move the car to prevent them from finding where they lived?
And how did they get shot at in a different place and the shooters managed to beat them home to attack again?
If someone shot at me I wouldn't drive back home, I'd call anyone at home and tell them to lock down the house and call the police if anyone did anything suspicious and make a beeline to the nearest police station as fast as I can.

I imagine the son should be able to tell the police the location of the first shooting and they'd be able to investigate which could possible confirm or deny his version of the event.
Those bullets from that first shooting would've ended up somewhere.

Whole thing is unraveling.

More info released today.

Suddenly, the car cut in front of them and then "spun sideways" to block their path. The driver, described as 6 feet tall, exited his car and told her, "I'm gonna' come back for you and your daughter," according to the warrant.

Brandon Meyers grabbed his 9mm Beretta and went outside and told his mom to come inside and call the police — but she refused, and said she'd go looking for the driver without him if he didn't get in the car, according to the warrant.

Brandon and his mother went looking for the car, and eventually found it, which led to a chase. According to Brandon Meyers, the cars stopped on a nearby street and the front seat passenger of the silver car began shooting at their vehicle.

The mother and son sped away and returned to their house, which sits on a cul-de-sac, the warrant says. Brandon Meyers said that's when the silver car appeared, and the front seat passenger again shot at them.

Brandon Meyers said he shot back, firing three times. The other car backed out of the cul-de-sac, leaving Tammy Meyers lying on the ground bleeding from a gunshot wound the head.

Nowsch told his friends that the incident was sparked after he was sitting in a park near the school parking lot and saw the green car, which he thought was following him. That's when he called a friend in a silver Audi sedan to pick him up. According to the friend, Nowsch said there was an exchange between the two cars, and the green car followed them.

Nowsch told the friends he thought he saw a gun being waved from the window of that car, so he "put a clip in his gun and started shooting at the green car," according to the warrant.

When he met with friends early the next morning after the incident, he appeared happy and coherent, they said. He told them that he "got those kids, they were after me, and I got them." Nowsch said he opened fire on someone running from the car they'd followed, and he was sure he hit someone, according to the warrant.

Police have still not identified the driver of the silver Audi. Police said they are looking for another suspect in the shooting, but believe Nowsch was the shooter.

There was 2 shooting locations like the father stated.
This kid is a idiot and responsible for her death but I don't understand why the mother insisted on tracking down the guy who threatened her and the daughter, leave that to the police.
If I'm understanding correctly, the shooter Nowsch is not the driver that threatened them on the highway, it was possibly the driver of the silver audi but police haven't confirmed that.

This article has a interesting blurb.
Neighbor Melissa Mour said she talked with Nowsch the day after the shooting and asked him about the screeching tires and gunfire she had heard the night before.

"He was like, 'Whoever did this is going to pay for it. I've know that family a long time,'" Mour said. "The way he spoke that day, it was like he liked them. It was like he was upset at whoever did it."
This whole thing really is weird.

welcome to the future of citizens armed to protect themselves because the police can't do it ..

(sorry, must have been said already, but Jesus Christ just like the trayvon martin case this is the quagmire when you let citizens solve their own problems with guns instead of less trivial to use implements).

how are you, B!TCH? How is your day going, B!ITCH?
Drugs. Drugs have to be the missing piece to this story. Unless we get a damn good explanation at the end of this I'm going to assume drugs are involved.

Stupidity all around. The whole idea of her and her son bringing a weapon and following them to keep them away from the house makes no sense at all. Especially when he lives across the street.

It really is the only thing that makes sense, isn't it?

Anthony Lee said he's known Nowsch for a few years. He said the teen and Tammy Meyers were no strangers.

"Mrs. Meyers used to come to the park and try to purchase things off him. I don't know what she was purchasing, but I knew that she would talk to him."

According to the arrest report, police said Nowsch was involved in two shootouts with Meyers and her son last Thursday night.

Yep, I said when I heard about it that it was either a drug situation or the lady had some kind of twisted relationship with the guy that went south.

This is certainly making way more sense than it did when the story first came out. And the media will have learned nothing about waiting for facts to come out before creating a narrative.
