I'm really surprised to see them actually secure a venue for the Razzies. Do stars actually attend?
Sandra Bullock accepted hers in person last year.

And Halle Berry did a few years back when she won for Catwoman.

Oh, and I almost forgot this GIF.

The Last Airbender was the only bad movie I couldn't sit through. I guess it's due to my love of the show but man I was so pissed off I couldn't get past the opening.

I've been waiting to see this movie on DVD just to see how bad it is.

Still have no clue how Aasif Mandvi got a pass on an acting award at the Razzies for his part in The Last Airbender. He was far worse than any of the kids.

There's nothing better than watching a movie trailer in a theater and hearing everyone laugh/groan when M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN appears on the screen.

What a difference a decade makes.

honestly...I don't know who could have predicted the width and breath of his collapse.

Sixth Sense, Signs and Unbreakable were excellent films. Not award-winning, but very solid in their own rights. Even introspective.

It's like someone introduced him quietly to crack cocaine.

Honestly I think Unbreakable is his best film. The ending always gives me chills... Even though I don't think it should, but damn... What a twist.

damn that's nice said:
was last airbender the first m. night movie with no twist?
Wasn't there a rumor that
The Last Airbender takes place in a post-apocalyptic earth?
That's definitely a twist for fans of Avatar.

I went in expecting it to be horrible. It was worse than I thought it would be.

Same here. Truly an awful film. What makes it even worse is we'll never see a proper film adaption of Avatar after he fucked it up so badly. :-/

Don't forget that Paul Verhoeven accepted his for Worst Director (Showgirls) in person as well. Believe he was the first one to actually accept the award in person

Yeah I loved the Unbreakable. The only "superhero" movie that is any good.

but there was a twist. I don't understand why so many people missed it.

edit: I don't get the hate for signs or even lady in the water. I enjoyed both. 6 sense and unbreakable were his top movies for me.

edit: Besides his movies keep making money so they will keep coming.

hahaha, but from sixth sense to signs he was sure as hell a better director than Abrams (who is getting this 'next spielberg' thing thrown on him now)

They're probably talking about the Spielberg who directed The Terminal and Jurassic Park 2

M. Night is one of the few people who knew what to do with Bruce Willis after Die Hard.

I can forgive a lot for the man who made 6th sense.
Who on Gaf actually sees bad movies anymore? They're very easy to avoid.
